ASM 3 2020 Annual Report released today, for those who are interested.

https://www.asnb.com.my/pdf/produk/ANNUALRE...2%20Wawasan.pdf

The breakdown of the source of distributions is more transparent now, first time showing contribution from PNB.

This year there is drawdown from past realized income, but none is done for last year, according to the report.

Similar to previous year, unit holders can email ASNB to request for a full list of investment portfolio, as they only list the top 20 in the report.

if i bought ASM 1 in dec month , can qualify for the dividend ah? newbie here...
*
The dividend is paid based on your lowest holding of that month, so you started in December, say any day from Dec 1 onwards, but your lowest balance for December is zero (or any amount you already had prior to Dec. 1). So no dividend for December. You only get dividend for this month's investment beginning from January, as what MGM said in his post.

Yes but starts from 1/1/2021. tongue.gif

Huhuh...
If ASB can give 4.25

ASM 1,2&3 sure even lower..
3.8% incoming 🤪🤭
*
Do you see any possibility of ASB's dividend converging towards ASM 1/2/3's dividend rate in the future? I doubt the spread between the two will widen.

This is something to note:

Why no invest in FMAAG? mad.gif  tongue.gif or TSLA.

Tesla I don't think so. But FANG yes. Facebook, Alphabet, Amazon, Microsoft and Apple are in their portfolio, in fact IT as a whole is their largest international public equity exposure.

(Inference from ASM1/2/3 portfolio breakdown, I don't have ASB's portfolio breakdown.)

Sin Chew readers will be aware of his column. Nice write-up for some of his finance opinions.

(I suspect he is a Lowyat member as he frequently mention the word "forum" in his writings. Not aware of any other "finance forum" in Malaysia.)

Do they pay out the dividend every mth or only once a year after the dividend announcement? noob here....
*
They pay out once a year after announcement, you can look for the dates at ASNB's website.

Usually members here will be very nervous days prior to the dividend announcement date and everyone will start guessing the rate, then you will know the dividend pay-out is just around the corner. biggrin.gif

Thanks bro! Btw, ASM1 , 2, 3 which has more value? yes i know need fishing.... but which fish is the best to be fished?
*
Haha, this one I am not qualified to answer you as I don't fish any more. You can ask other fishermen here. tongue.gif

Just make sure you read the annual reports often to study the differences between the funds. On the dividend side, the 3 FP funds are roughly similar in pay-out in the long run.

ASNB plans to increase the maximum withdrawal limit for ASB? Not sure if it will be implemented to other funds as well.

Hmm I bet he would lose the sales charge if he does so. Certainly those bundling packages aren't entirely free. Banks makan some margin, ASNB take some more. Wealth management business always brings handsome profits. tongue.gif
