QUOTE(WH4CockcooBird @ Aug 10 2022, 08:04 AM) Sharing the simple DIY to create a speaker pocket in my C70: Bro, do you mind to guide me or help me on this?First, gone hunting for cookie cutter. Found one set of 12 pieces, and has a 42mm cutter. Bought it from Shopee. I press the cookie cutter into the foam to make a mark. ![]() Here's a nice circle created by cold press the cookie cutter. I further heat up the cookie cutter with a heat gun, then press the heated cutter further down for the depth I wanted. A heated cookie cutter will melt through the foam. ![]() Irrigating is a little challenging. With the cooking cutter in place as fencing, I use a combination of soldering iron to melt down the foam, and a steel ruler to excavate and flatten the surface as much as possible. ![]() Test placement of the speaker. At this depth, the speaker is only half buried in the speaker pocket I just created. Even so, it's poking on my head. I deepened the pocket further afterwards, and have the speaker fully buried and flush with the surface. ![]() Another view of the speaker sitting nicely in the pocket without needing any velcro to hold it in place. Later, I use soldering iron to cut out a cable trunk to run the speaker cable out from the pocket. ![]() |

If you ever want to buy a Shoei helmet, visit GoMoTo experience lab to do a size check. The shops are hit and miss, and you do not want a bigger shell than you have to.
And you can try the different models and sizes from the entire lineup. Just bring your own balaclava. That being said, Arai’s new Quantic has so good cushioning. Feels light years ahead of Shoei for comfort and out of the box fit for my head. The cushion is superior that’s for sure. This post has been edited by Jason: Oct 20 2022, 07:46 PM |

Make sure you lock your expensive bike well. As previously someone lost his gold wing there during motor gp.

Thinking of picking up a rpha 11 next month, any sifu can recommend this helmet for long term use? Plan on using for my first trip with my brother to Kuching. I know it's racing helmet but I like the narrow look of it and also come with pinlock and free dark visor. This will be my *first* helmet and I want to make sure the rm1++++ price is worth it.

It comes with a retractable sun visor/shade which is a better option than using a dark visor. And it's a much quieter helmet. It's a better helmet for daily use and for long distance ride. I'm using one, my daily ride helmet. No regrets. Forgot to ask What type of bike are you riding? Rpha11 aerodynamics is designed mainly for sporty riding position Rpha70 is designed for upright riding position, touring , etc This post has been edited by skyblu3: Oct 25 2022, 10:13 PM |

Are you sure about the measurements? Maybe you have a very round head. Most helmets are oval in shape. My head is roundish at the top so helmets that are more oval/racier will not fit. I can't fit AGV. HJC barely fits. So far Bell and Shoei has the best fit for my head. I would say Bell is the roomiest. Also, try helmets that have 3 or more Shells across the sizes. Otherwise you may have to stick with jet helmets. |

Maybe I'll take a look at the rpha 70. Also, what's the fiting like on hjc helmets? I heard it a bit tight on the cheeks and is it good for oval face like me?It's a better helmet for daily use and for long distance ride. I'm using one, my daily ride helmet. No regrets. Then better go get rpha70 or 90So far I have no issues with wind push wearing my r70 when going like 130kmh++. Stable. You have to go test fit the helmet. |
