anyway agree with tam_ironcup, no nid to bash all those who dun like tis movie
but if u dun like the movie, it's better to state the reason
no point saying things like this movie suckssssssssssss and tat's all while most probably the reason is u can't stand the shaky cam so u din even noe wat happen with the movie
*
i play can play counter strike or COD 3/4 hours straight, so the pov viewing was not a problem for me.

Summary:
If you got do "homework" (as in getting involved the alternative reality game)about Cloverfield before watching it, you will most likely say its good.

If you just go to cinema expecting "loltransformerforallomgbabesexplosionwow3hourlotrkingkongepic" movie, you will say it sucks.

Did i get it right?

the summary should be :

If i go watch the CLOVERFIELD, i be expecting "loltransformerforallomgbabesexplosionwow3hourlotrkingkongepic" movie.

If i wanna experience the alternative reality, i can always go for discovery channel or any fps game.

just joking.

duhhh, but i cant just stand that the monster shows up in the screen less than 3 minutes

probably just a bunch of dictators, but born in wrong time zone, and powerless (therefore have to use extra large size wording plus highlight to express their ego)

well, there're so many reasons been given out in previous posts by so many poeple on why this is a bad movie and they are still asking for reason reason reason? That's hilarious.

I hope the sequel will be remain using the same filming method.

PS : I heard J.J. Abrams using the words "sequel" and "people posting their lives on YouTube" and "anything is possible with the internet" [ source : E! News ]

all the bashers...go home watch godzilla pls.

the camcorder touch added a personal touch to the film, u actually feel the panic n horror, as though a live footage. this movie featured pretty solid acting. the drama was superb and the carnage...awesome.

it feels as if we're on ground zero. that's what made it good. we can relate more to the characters too.

edit: the end part was touching.

Bored!

Picture time....weird creatures around the world that didn't make it into JJ Abrams Cloverfield.

This is cloverfield's parasite cousin found hitching a boat heading to New Jersey.

This dude didn't make it due to overly accessive body fluid that splattered New York in just over a minute.

Slusho new product! Parasite in a can.

yea, it was touching, i was wet eyes two times in the cinema.... eww, i was felt so bad while the girl's head exploding .
and the director was genius, he make us felt like in the real situation running for life, and guess what, the escaping was rather succesful, we only encounter the creature less than 3 mins.

i think b3ta should go watch the atonement.

I'd like to give some credit to Summit's THX. The sound was incredible, heck even my sit was shaking when the monster roared. Really awesome.

I watched it at 1U's Hall 2 and yeah...great sound system. Everything was so loud the hall was vibrating at times. Thats the way I like it.

Anyway... Its currently the top movie for January here. Despite many people leaving halfway. And it has been reported that some people really puked at the cinema. That would surely stink.

i still see arsehole think its a movie. its not meant tobe a story telling like any other movies. Its a tape.
its not meant to be shown with art direction or beautiful cinematograhy or any beautiful written scripts. I dont have  nausea at all. i just know how to rest my eye away from the shaking scene. by right, front seaters should be inform earlier. Im sitting at the 3rd back of the row , im fine with it. thats the consequences for not used to reading more about film knowledge . i have to be harsh on this because majority are just ignorance. I can said that most of the audience havent even know the similar hype about Blair |Witch project. By the time , it was shown, everyone assume its a movie minus the knowledge of the viral advertisement in the internet.

they desserve it. yes i may sound evil but the earth dont have space for Idiots anymore.
*
paying 10 bucks for a home video is kinda meh.

people have opinions, get used to it. about ignorance, lets put it this way to them you are ignorant and idiotic. funny tho you people love to protect this movies creditability like a passionate football supporter, we get it it rox to you cant you just leave it be?

sad i cant have a solid opinion on this movie, cant watch it. im too good friends with motion sickness

Here is a Matt Reeves interview.

He sort of confirm the "little something" at the end is the "thing" dropping in the water.

No sequel planned but warrant one if Clover do well and there is a compelling reason to do one. He sort have an idea about someone else camcorder (read the interview) but if another camcorder for sequel... i would ask him to re-consider otherwise a sequel is more than welcome.

i have motion sickness also
cant read in a moving vehicle for even one minute

i went inside the cinema expecting to feel dizzy and worst puke as i eat damm full before going sweat.gif
despite the shaking scene i am too consume with the intensity of the action within the film tat i dun feel any dizzy at all, it juz too realistic and interesting that i dun really feel dizzy.

u should giv it a try, juz buy the last row either side of a big hall, tats what i did and the angle helps alot therefore i dun feel dizzy biggrin.gif
