Summary:
If you got do "homework" (as in getting involved the alternative reality game)about Cloverfield before watching it, you will most likely say its good.

If you just go to cinema expecting "loltransformerforallomgbabesexplosionwow3hourlotrkingkongepic" movie, you will say it sucks.

i know a guy which owns a big company, lives well and earn well and he says the movie was sucks.

the camcorder touch added a personal touch to the film, u actually feel the panic n horror, as though a live footage. this movie featured pretty solid acting. the drama was superb and the carnage...awesome.

it feels as if we're on ground zero. that's what made it good. we can relate more to the characters too.

edit: the end part was touching.

I'd like to give some credit to Summit's THX. The sound was incredible, heck even my sit was shaking when the monster roared. Really awesome.

i still see arsehole think its a movie. its not meant tobe a story telling like any other movies. Its a tape.
its not meant to be shown with art direction or beautiful cinematograhy or any beautiful written scripts. I dont have  nausea at all. i just know how to rest my eye away from the shaking scene. by right, front seaters should be inform earlier. Im sitting at the 3rd back of the row , im fine with it. thats the consequences for not used to reading more about film knowledge . i have to be harsh on this because majority are just ignorance. I can said that most of the audience havent even know the similar hype about Blair |Witch project. By the time , it was shown, everyone assume its a movie minus the knowledge of the viral advertisement in the internet.

sad i cant have a solid opinion on this movie, cant watch it. im too good friends with motion sickness

i have motion sickness also
cant read in a moving vehicle for even one minute

i went inside the cinema expecting to feel dizzy and worst puke as i eat damm full before going 
despite the shaking scene i am too consume with the intensity of the action within the film tat i dun feel any dizzy at all, it juz too realistic and interesting that i dun really feel dizzy.

u should giv it a try, juz buy the last row either side of a big hall, tats what i did and the angle helps alot therefore i dun feel dizzy

but mine goes on a little extreme, i cant even seat in a backseat in a bumpy ride or even sometimes i drive and the road is bumpy i'll come out feeling like a million bucks
