before i watch a movie, i always do research. like how gore is it, how good is it, wat is it about, etc etc.

i dont just walk in any random movie and expect lord of the ring out of it.

people something can be retarded. they paid willingly and enter the movie and say it sucks without doing any research.
*
We paid and we watch, if it's a good movie, we give positive comment, if it's a lousy movie, we give bad comment, that's it, why make thing so complicated?

Besides the shaky camera, it's a crappy storyline:

If you have to find the answer by doing your own research from website or elsewhere, or have to use your own imagination to answer so many questions, then solely judge the storyline, it already fail.

as i have mention earlier, reading everything about the movie before even experiencing it yourself has already defeated the purposes of u even visiting the cinema....

if you could read everything about it, why even bother watching it? what many viewers around the world watches movie for the element of surprise what is coming from the story of the movie is very important. just like watching a football match.... if i were to tell you that a football ended at a 5-6... u would be surprise or even watch the game again... but what about the feel of hoping your team to win??
*
totally agree with you.

oh hell.yea, we have to do our own reseach on the back story before we watch movie, then what's the point to watch it? Movie should tell us the story at the moment we step into the cinema. If we have to dig out the storyline or the answer before or after watching the movie, I doubt what's the purpose of watching movie.

No one's asking you to dig out the storyline. Just get simple facts straight.

For instance,u generally find out the genre of a movie before u watch one,no?

Understanding that the movie is of a documentary style i.e. handheld cam i.e. u can't take it would have saved u ur 10 bucks.
*
I know it's handheld cam, I know is regarding monster, I think that's enough for me to know before I watch the movie. Well, I hate handheld cam, some say they like it and can get used to it, fine. The storyline is crappy, that's the fact, which let me feel so not worth it. I stand for the dizzy (one and half hours), and what I get back is NOTHING, all NO ANSWER,

Bolded part : Uh...yea,sure.

What is ur obsession with answers? Do you not like some mystery leaving the cinema, something to talk about, something to speculate, which say,is answered in the form of some mangas (lol) or even a sequel? sweat.gif

I blame this on Malaysian education, everything must be spoon fed laugh.gif (no offense, just a random thought)
*
There's so many bad reviews regarding the storyline from worldwide, so apparently there's nothing to do with Malaysian education. I like SOME mystery leaving the cinema, but not ALL mystery, I like something to talk about, don't like NOTHING to talk about, cause I get NO ANSWER from this movie. I have to make up the story by myself to answer all the mystery throwing out from the movie.

Conclusion: I don't like this movie.

lol....i nearly die after watching this movie and i really dun understand why there are so many LYN forumers who love it so much. rclxub.gif

honestly many ppl left the cinema after around 30 minutes show time but at least i watched the whole show.

and the guy sitting next to me went to washroom like few times. i duno why la..... maybe vomit or something. but then he just keep continue watching after he came back from washroom. laugh.gif
*
trust me, there're a lot of people who hate this movie, but due to there're a few "expertise" in this thread keep bashing people who gave negative feedback, there's nothing we can talk with them anymore.

THe truth is how shaking it was, and for this movie...
the shaking degree is high.... sad.gif
*
Ya, the shaking is still acceptable for me if the storyline is good, but it's a crappy storyline, which is a big dissapoinment.

that was refreshing.
i know a guy which owns a big company, lives well and earn well and he says the movie was sucks.
i dont think he is a idiot. LOL.
or LYN is full of "genius" ?
*
probably just a bunch of dictators, but born in wrong time zone, and powerless (therefore have to use extra large size wording plus highlight to express their ego)

well, there're so many reasons been given out in previous posts by so many poeple on why this is a bad movie and they are still asking for reason reason reason? That's hilarious.
