wanna check something .. anyone can verify when the laptop is off, would it be able to charge USB devise?
-- It didn't.
Now, was anyone able to install the AHCI drivers?
I tried with Nvidia Drivers v10.3.0.23 but the inf had no entry for the hardware IDs:
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0560&CC_0101
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0550&CC_0101
both of these are detectable as Standard Dual Channel IDEs when using the IDE option from BIOS.
Thus, any method I can find through googling didn't help i.e. the 'Have disk methods (add new hardware, update primary IDE drivers)' & slipstreaming too.
I tried modifying the inf to add those hardware IDs but then I get BSODs & Reboots.
The HD is Toshiba MK1637GSX (has SATA support)
The DVD is HL-DT-ST_DVDRAM_GSA-T20N_WP03 (Not sure).
Could anyone shed some light on what's going on?
