Just bought today at ALL IT..
RM1999 with 1gb ram..
they provided me with xp driver too.

All IT in lowyat plaza. they gave me kingston ram ddr667.

yup..got it..but what is for anyway? they specially burn a cd for me.

all it lowyat.no winxp..i installed it by myself.they just gave me winxp cd drivers.


but now i got a problem..the headphone jack is not working/not detected..i try installed vista sound drivers but to no avail..sound still come from the main speaker.anybody can enlighten me?

Personally i think this laptop sucks..
Now is the 3rd time i have problem with this model
1.one day after bought,headphone cannot be detected.sound still come from main speaker.send warranty to ALL IT,get back they said it's brand new.
2.one week later,cannot on,nothing on screen.send to acer SC at TS yesterday. he said he updated bios so will be more stable with win xp.
3.today when was typing my work,laptop just go blank and cannot on again!
This laptop is less than one month,but really gives me a lot of troble!
what the heck acer!

do you really think it's driver problem? because now the laptop cannot switch on at all..but the light is there..
i tried unplugged the battery for few hours,using power cable,check the ac indicator but to no avail. maybe All it gave me a refurbished product??
anyway i just sent it to Acer TS. Hope they can rectify my problem forever.

is it to install windows xp?
afaik you dont need sata driver to install winxp to this laptop
