QUOTE(SonnyCooL @ Oct 3 2019, 04:30 PM) sorry mate, this is what you think, but their condition state different means they have any right to reject you (why pay to get reject), even their top level management already said emui is best suit for OLD timer. With or without google.. honest very disappointed with their decision .... Miui is better for old timer.. Bcoz its CHEAP... I get redmi note 4 for my mum.. And its still doing good and smooth... Thinking bout to upgrade to redmi note 8 for her.. |

Mate present business series smartphone. Without Google services mean without good software to do daily business stuff. Without it, they shouldn't call as mate series.
I found price slightly increase alot. Maybe I still using M20x |

Alternative apps:
Chrome: Firefox. You still lose tab sync from Chrome on desktop, but you may use Google browsing history. Or just ditch Chrome & use Firefox on desktop. Gmail: Outlook works well with Gmail accounts. Youtube: Not sure how well 3rd party apps work with Youtube. Otherwise use Youtube on browser. Maps: Waze, or use Maps in browser. Playstore: Huawei's own App Gallery. Drive/Photos: I don't use both, and I think people seldom use these too. |

QUOTE(taqu @ Oct 4 2019, 07:44 AM) Alternative apps: Chrome: Huawei has their own browser, so it should be fine unless you wanna download others for some reasonChrome: Firefox. Gmail: Huawei has their own email app as well, and it works fine with Gmail AFAIK Maps: Waze or maybe Huawei Maps (if it's already available) Play Store: Obviously App Gallery Drive/Photos: Not a big deal unless you really rely on Google's cloud services Or maybe can sideload apk for those apps (not Google ones) that are unavailable, if it's usable of course |

Not sure, Mate30 pro able to support the Microsoft outlook and intune company portal? If not, hard for me to change to Mate 30 pro |

Outlook for Android can be used on any phone. I think Outlook for Android does support MDM/Intune to some extent eg remote wipe but not sure. Better ask Microsoft. Not sure, Mate30 pro able to support the Microsoft outlook and intune company portal? If not, hard for me to change to Mate 30 pro |

Go to their official website, then download the APK, then transfer the APK onto the phone, then install it? And repeat the cycle whenever you wanted to update the app? Oops no, too much troubles. Bye bye Huawei. Good luck! Huawei will be gone in 2 years like Sony |
