Big mistake to use "waterfall" display...

But i just check in my mate 20. No Mobile Legends game. If this famous game dun have, how i can really counts this Appgalerry to have other great games or apps.  :confused: 

Poor huawei, they do make great device, but been harass by these american.. grrrr   

ive use previous mate 10 and 20pro bought in china. so far no issues. all u need to do is install a google playstore and it works just like an outside china set

Alternative apps:

Chrome: Firefox. You still lose tab sync from Chrome on desktop, but you may use Google browsing history. Or just ditch Chrome & use Firefox on desktop.

Gmail: Outlook works well with Gmail accounts.

Youtube: Not sure how well 3rd party apps work with Youtube. Otherwise use Youtube on browser.

Maps: Waze, or use Maps in browser.

Playstore: Huawei's own App Gallery.

Drive/Photos: I don't use both, and I think people seldom use these too.

If most developers work with Huawei's App Gallery, then not having Google is less an issue. Probably wait & see.

The camera's amazing though. I guess latest smartphones are not far from premium compact cameras eg Sony RX 10 / 100.

I agree on that. That's why I hold my purchase of OP7T Pro even I really wanna feel the 90Hz smothness, LOL. Btw, care to share your experience using Mate 30 Pro? I might participate in the 2nd pre-order.

Yeah man... I have read in HardwareZone forums that everybody went for the Mate 10 Pro instead of the Mate 10. That explains the shortage of stocks. I would say Huawei themselves didn't anticipate the demand due the current Google fiasco and were caught off guard and hence the shortage of stocks.

Bro... don't get upset. Its ok. Many people who have not used the phone will try to come up with their own conclusions. My Mate 30 Pro is already up and running with no issues with Playstore. I Have all my regular apps on my old Note 9 installed on the Mate 30 Pro and everything is up and running in proper order.
Anyway, the double tap on the Edge to activate volume button is quite a cool feature to have though I'm not too sure it would be practical. But it is sure nice to have clean edges on the side of the phone without any volume buttons.

Just want to share some app that I've used since Mate 20 Pro era that can overcome some limitation in EMUI.

1. Tiles. Used to create shortcut in quick setting tiles. I mainly used it to create shortcut for adaptive (auto) brightness toggle sqitch because Huawei forgot to put it there, LOL. Also, I used it to create shotcut for dual sim setting as I frequently switching between sim 1 & 2 at certain area.

2. Vivid Navigation Gesture. For anyone like me who uses navigation gestures, this will helps a lot. I mainly use it to create another space in bottom left or right on the screen for additional gestures which in my case, to pull down the notification bar. This app allow you to assign a few area of the corner of the screen to be used as gesture pad to initiate a lot of action.

The advantages of this app compared to others (Fluid Navigation Gesture, etc) is the fact that users can entirely disable any gesture spot other than the one that we intend to use so it won't get in the way of the system original gesture action.
