That's one of the apps i face issues, even with GMS, you need to download/use the foodpanda *from* Appgallery instead of sideload it from other sources eg. petal search. Otherwise you will get gms error when using the app. But the one from AppGallery works just fine without such issue.

Ahh i see. Thanks. Problem fixed. So it seems like some apps has been optimised for HMS.

Is it no other way to install gms now d after the version updated. Seem like only working method is vmos, any other way pls share..

Try to live with no GMS? It only affect small amount of apps. 90% of the apps work just fine with HMS.

ACR work on huawei but not GMS.

Yes it works only when download from huawei app gallery. Sideload doesn't work. Besides, I found that aurora store is better for downloading apps. Overall still can live without GMS as the impact is too little.

I only need 3 apps which is essential for my work , which is fb, whatsapp, insta

Yeah, I downloaded it from the Huawei app gallery. So far so good, no issues for me into my second week living GMS free

how do you all transfer whatsapp backup file from android to huawei mate30, i try use pc copy the android databases file into mate 30, but somehow when i restore whatsapp backup on mate 30, it say unable to detect ..

after copy all folder (backup, DB, Media) to ur new phone, start install (before restore step).
go setting- apps - apps - whatsapp - permission (allow storage + others).

The battery life on this mate 30 pro is really really really great. Unplug 6pm on Friday 100%, 2pm on Saturday 6 hours SOT with 50%. AOD on all the time.
