I haven't got my phone la...not as lucky as you guys. You can try those available online. Try to use the latest methods and follow the steps closely. You would be doing fine. I cant try because I dont have a fresh phone to try now. The phone in the pic is my existing mate 30 Pro.

Relax. They need at most 2-3 days before the warranty is fixed. This thing is normal since they already done this setup during mate 20 series or p20 series if not mistaken. No need to surprise one.

Guys Don need to worry on the warranty date. Previously I bought honor View 20 and mate 20 also show earlier date than I purchase. Gv some times to the system to capture ur activation date. Then you guys share ur new update again here.

Looks like its all clear now since that many have experienced the same for the warranty their phones. Some even experienced this on their Honor phone. Seems like all these allegations are baseless. rolleyes.gif Lets move on to the discussion of the phone instead. nod.gif

honestly i not sure, cause i were told BY HUAWEI FRONT line (include that service central manager) and they insist on it even after i show them proof of purchase (receipt and delivery record), they do ask me go to that seller which i told them OFFICIAL HUAWEI....

Are you accusing HUAWEI front line and their store manager have no knowledge on HUAWEI own warranty SYSTEM ?

We shall just put the warranty issue to rest and no point in arguing this. Time will tell. Come back and let us know after 3 to 5 days whether the date is updated. The staffs or manager are merely stating whatever the facts laid in front of them i.e. the date in their system. The only reason for the misinformation is lack of training. It happens all the time be it in retail or any other industry. Just enjoy the new device.

I bought a nova 4e from authorised dealer in shopping mall mid last year and the warranty starts from the date of my purchase. The salesman show me the warranty details on the screen of my new phone on the spot. Of course, I leave all to the salesman to kautim for in store purchase, therefore I didnt check the warranty status before open box. This is my first experience buying a phone online as I've always prefer to see and feel the phone and purchase in store before the pandemic.

Just wait..warranty je. We all have proof of purchase, so they cannot run with it.

Even my 3yrs old samsung s9+ has no problem to register for warranty start from april 2020.

when i check with huawei service central. (at 2A, Ground Floor, Brown Road, Lorong Pulau Tikus, 10350 George Town, Pulau Pinang, time 16.46 gmt +8 11/09/2020), Ticket Number B053
Huawei Customer Services Counter number 3 (she din't provide me her name), told me my PHONE purchase on 16/04/2020, when i show her my proof of purchase, she look for her manager Ms Kong (time 16.53 gmt +8 11/09/2020), She double confirm with me and wrote me a NOTE about my Phone Warranty and ask me to double check with my seller.

I don't do baseless complaint nor accusations, i take my action.

I tot new phones are not registered for warranty until they're activated upon purchase? As with most other electronics or electrical items? I'm not sure, that's why asking. Just wanted to understand how it works and to ascertain if it was an open box item but re-sealed again.

i take strong precautions too and do a lot online purchase tongue.gif
that include open box video.
Conversations recording (with her permission, declare first, if not some one going to said something again).
Phone call recording (where she told me (my previous post does state it) just i feel totally different (feeling about something is LEGAL).
