Thinking to get mate 30 pro, comparign with oppo find x 2 pro

Mate, this is a Huawei Mate 30 series thread. So, when I stated not just new phones but others, it is vis-a-vis this brand/model, which are not new as well. Trust this is clear...

cannot use all banking app since no google play services in the device.. really getting bad now

i can see some websites teaching how to load GMS in huawei mate pro 30. those posts was past one week.

Need your advice here.
I have been using Samsung and planning to get a Mate 30 Pro.
The apps that I am using frequently basically are:
- Whatpps
- Waze
- Grab
- Wechat
- eWallet

For the above phone (Mate 30 Pro), understand that there is no GMS. Just wondering whether we will be able to install the above 5 apps particularly (say from the browser or Huawei apps gallery)?

Because saw that there is comment informing that for those newer phone (i.e. purchase from March 2020 onwards), it will not be possible?

If yes, it maybe because that Google has start blocking the new phone now?
Really hope this is not the case.

Those banking apps that you are using are mostly already available in App Gallery, stop being so stubborn geez.

Whatsapp can but cannot retrieve/backup from google drive. Waze can use. Grab's map is GMS dependent so cannot. Wechat no problem. ewallet as far as i know tng no problem.

I need to have atleast whatsapp backup and my google photos backup

Which banking app are you referring?
Maybank doesn't require GMS...

If you already have mate 30 pro, you can try phone clone to clone your old whatsapp to your new phone.

bro, i m using HMS past fewcweeks.. but this CiMB app is not supported..and also RHB Now
its not available in App Gallery.. i did sideload via apk..

Hi.... cannot be can’t use all banking..... my mate 30 pro 5g ... all the banking iap- is OK....not even install GMS also can use all the app....only is PENANG smart packing cannot install....all the app is already have in Huawei App Store or if no then u download APKPure then get all the app .... not install GMS my unit work more prefect and smooth... not like early I use P30 hang..... now very smooth.....without GMS work better

If without the GMS is not a big issue, I shall be awaiting the very soon to be launched P40 Pro also.

For phone cloning (to clone my old whatsapp to new phone), it can be done at most of the mobile shops with some fees?

Whatsapp is easier to backup. From your current phone, press backup after done go to whatsapp folder, zip it and save it in cloud/pc. In your new phone just extract it then setup your new whatsapp. Ezpz

My whatsapp is use the backup in the Huawei app... use pen drive.... u can choose app and also data.... all the data will done in new phone...with phone clone in the app...
