Yes, applied for a few hundred lots thru my private bank. Quite cheap this time, only HKD80 IPO Offer price per share for the HKeX tranche. Price came out this evening.

For 9988 last year, I recalled it was HKD176 per share, 100 shares per lot.

Nope bro,.. will be floated a few days after the US Election.

Nov 5th is tentative listing date, 2 days after the election

Edited by adding : But I think, I wouldn't be allocated so many units, since Mr Ma said he would want as many invetors as possible to benefit from his IPO. This concept is something like Tesla's Elon Mask which said sometimes this year tht he will instruct the banks to sell Tesla shares off and on from then on.

Hence,... applied more in the hope that my subscription can be allocated a substantial quantity that makes economic sense.

I heard,.. in SG,... Phillip-Capital and some banks are able to help investors do this subscription too.

In previous US Elections, the mkts tend to 'support' the incumbent president, and when the election is completed and the incumbent wins again, the mkts will rally. The polls kept showing that Biden has been leading, hence the mkts have been dropping earlier. However;....

As of the beginning of this week, mkts could have changed their paradigm and are ready to accept a non-incumbent to the White House. That's why the mkts across the world are generally greenish.

But, jmho,... we shld not rush in yet,... there will be more dramas in the next few days. Mkts will have a chance to plunge again.

I suppose Chinese state-owned banks lobbied the regulators to control this behemoth behind closed doors. Since Ant's most direct competitor is them, naturally I suspect them first.
