If for music, try Aego M or Creative Gigawork T3. Heard T3's Bass Slam technology works quite well with music, it's subwoofer slam 3 direction simultaneously.

Just google some reviews regarding T3...

In between S550D and Logitech, I think you'd better go for audition urself to find the one that suits u the most, however, since you're not using it for movies, I guess the 2.1 S730D will do.

If you want a 2.1 system, go for s730d, no nonsense.

If you want a 5.1 system, either go for z5500 or wait for the launching of s750

Just got back from KL, tried some Edifiers.... I dont know why ppl can complain Edifier bass lacking cause... i feel its already a lot even flat setting lol

Edifier is more my taste then logitech (too loose)

Razer Mako, i saw the box... not even gave it 2nd look haha

Most of them do not place their woofer correctly , so sometime ppl cant experience the true potential of their speaker Edifier speaker oredi perform very well even with flat EQ. Unlike altec lansing , if no adjust EQ, the sound is not that nice

ha? thats weird, from the photo, Razer Mako seems attractive. oh yah, i have decided to go for Audio Engine A2, review seems rather good. and best thing, its compact.

of course on the floor. make sure at least there are 5-8 inch space between the left, right, front and rear of the subwoofer.

i used to have an altec lansing 45.1 2.1 speakers. unfortunately, after many years, it broke down. Am very pleased with its SQ.

Would like to hear some recommendation of 2.1 speakers which is on par with the SQ of my old 45.1.

Budget? <RM300 preferable.

Either you increase your budget to rm400 and get s330, or get m3300sf for only rm230+-..

A suggestion here, you better audit of them before you buy, who knows that maybe m3300sf can satisfy you easily??
