but its still so soft >< windows is at 60% according to creative surround mixer, one bar above the middle on windows volume control. main speaker know about 75%. this speaker still quite soft due to its low-sensitivity input...
will changing capacitor and opamp make a difference? what is it that cause the woofer to crunch wor? cos i wana mod this speaker for louder and cleaner sound, preserving the same tone...but i need to know where to start
you can always try to listen to other M3400 see whether they're worse or not.will changing capacitor and opamp make a difference? what is it that cause the woofer to crunch wor? cos i wana mod this speaker for louder and cleaner sound, preserving the same tone...but i need to know where to start
if your M3400 is worse than the other, in the stores, for example, then try claiming warranty.
60 and 75% is not so high. i guess maybe some defect. any bass boost or SRS TruBass you turned on?

i wish i could do that to my M3300. no matter what i do, TruBass, Bass-boost in x-fi and whatever, still cannot shake my room.end up getting other speaker. but to superior edifier, say like S530D, little volume already can "shake" due to lower & better bass response.
