if u dunhave sound card, check whether ur current built in soundcard support 5.1 or not. otherwise get a soundcard if u want a 5.1 ,, 2.1 is different thing. u see they have 3 less speakers. so u understand what is the different right... 5.1 is actually better in movies. but messy is.

What is a good 2.1 speaker for movies, anime and a little bit of music with headphone jack under RM160 and where to buy this speaker cheap ? I dont want to make mistake of buying at expensive shop an I see that someone mentions Edifier M3100SF speaker. But its new, maybe a bit expensive now. So some suggestion please. Thank you

under RM160, headphone jack? try Edifier M2300.

al vs 2141? i nver know that type before. AL i recommend VS2321 only. at that price also i recommend the Edifier E3100 and Edifier M3300. many ppl will also suggest the M3300.

i'm about the order tha creative megaworks 510D and read a lot of good reviews but i haven't sampled them myself.

but almost everywhere seems to paint the same picture, got clarity with tight bass and good mids but a little low on treble.

what do you guys think? is this one of those old skool legends? (previously used Altec ACS45.1, LOVED it)

First time posting in audiophile here in lowyat... need help a bit.


I am going to get a home theater system but i dont know which one to choose or i may have miss out the ideal system which i am looking for.
Here is my requirement.

I am looking at 5.1 satellite speakers like the bose type.
I cam across Mission M-cube, PSB Alpha T1, Kef 2005.3, bose acoutimass 10

2ndly is about the AV receiver. I went to A&L amcorp and they recomended me the PSB Apha T1 (small speakers with 8" woofer) and a Yamaha receiver RXV663 av receiver. both item is around 4k in total...

I only like the satellite speaker type and i will like to keep my budget below 5k. But if situation doesnt allow i will pump in a little bit.
i really like the mission m-cube outlook but i dont know where to get it....

i want to ask about 2.1 speaker. I have Edifier C2 (but sold now), and now S330D. I want to upgrade it to C3 or S530D. Will i get improvement to thos speaker. Or stay with S330D.

u can upgrade to S530d.C3 is not a good option for u becoz S330 better than it. If u feel S330 is not powerful enuff for u ,S530D is ur choice

I prefer 2.1 system
I mostly use it for gaming and abit of music.

Is gmx2.1 or z2300 a good choice?

i would rather choose mx5021 Altec for gaming and music purposes. and for full music purposes, Aego M is the best within ur budget.
