hye..plan to buy a speaker budget around rm600.... i see many edifier recommendation here... so i want to know any other brandname that on par with those edifier recommendation? want to compare them before buy...

i think it is very hard for u to find the altec lansing ACS295 oredi.
If u are going to listen classical music,then u cannot mis out the S330

I am looking for a receiver (or is it called amplifier?) and a 5.1 speakers combo to compliment my PS3 and X360. I don't need Home Theater system that can play dvd or wahtever, just need a speaker combo that is able to pump out DD 5.1/DTS from my PS3 and X360. any recommendations?

and obviously, the speakers' main and ONLY purpose are for gaming, so impressive exploding sounds and dialogue clarity are my top priorities.

My budget is kinda low unfortunately, RM1000. any recommendations?

brother xk2, this Edifier S330 is a replacement for S2000 ? Does it have any treble, balance adjustment like S2000 ?

hoho,no la,s2000 is edifier's top 2.0 speaker while s330 is only the entry level of their s series 2.1 speaker.price tag oso far diffirent.u only can adjust bass level on s330.the treble is oredi tuned by edifier

I think i got the model mixed up already.
I read somewhere the S330 is a replacement of Sxxx model mentioned somewhere in this forum.
But this Sxxx already out of production, my housemate actually using it right now with treble, balance, bass adjustment. If this is a replacement, what benefit of the current one over the older model?

S330 is actually replace the old S2.1/S2.1D(refer picture below).One of the major benefit of S330 is the tweeter and its design.The 2 piano paint design satelites is much more nicer to look if compare to the old S2.1.Sound is clearer,thanks to the tweeter,and bass is tighter than the old S2.1.Even though the old S2.1 is quite good oredi,but the new S330 is mean to improve it.

My mobo have a built in Sigmatel soundcard, the sound crack when i play Pie Jesu, currently using free sonic gear speaker from PC.COM many years ago, i wonder should change the speaker first or both at the same time?

i jus using S330 pair with my laptop's onboard Conexant Hight Definition HD2 ,no money buy sound card for laptop.Suggest u change the speaker first,then if u still wan improve,only try to change the sound card.

Hey guys, Im looking for a new 2.1 speakers.. Atfirst budget was kinda low around 200-300.. but after listening to AL MX5051, really fell in love with it.. The radiator at the SW that trembles really gets me everytime.. I just love the way it vibrates..lol. So i really don mind spending a little more to get it.. but would love to hear for some opinions.. Heard that logitech z2300 is really good too.. But never tried it b4 tho.. Wat would u reckon??
PS: I listen to mostly RnB's, Hip-Hop, Club musics.. N also considering to blast it in-house.. like in my apartment when there's a party or something.. So soundquality > Looks.. (Bouncing radiator is a huge bonus!!^^)

their main different is the satelites,M2300 do not have tweeter,M3300 have tweeter.if u have the money,get M3300 for around RM230,else,M2300 will not disapointed also at RM160+/-.M3300 got better clarity if compare to M2300.
