DAMN, my prediction is wrong by half.

I guessed correctly that they will refresh the item listing 2 more times (this time last another 3 days, and the promo will end by 6th, so should expect another refresh ahead), but I didn’t expect that they changed nothing on the list except from E595 to E495

Can they just drop in the X395/T495 already?

Bro , Citibank not much promotion anymore, since last 2 they going loose some money.

Even in the new list of CCS offer, but the based price still high sky to compare last 2 offers.

Docking station works wonder!

Poison by Benefon… reviewing from T470s, so this X395 is slight smaller in size only.

First impression on performance is quite durable comparing to T470s i5, thus I'm quite happy for overall package.

Personal downside is there is no LAN port anymore on these new series of Thinkpad. There is no battery extension as well, but x395 on full charge is OK for me.

Lol nice setup.. btw LAN port for office use, cause need to access office intranet server.

Hello guys, I'm still in dilemma in ordering either x395 or t495s... What's the main difference between these 2 model? And is ryzen 7 3700u worth it? Or ryzen 5 3600u is more than enough already.. thanks.

Hi, T495s vs X395 both are similar, even the laptop weight.
X395 based on X390 platform, wifi card, WWAN card is upgradable, if not wrong T495s are the same.
Battery wise T495s slightly bigger capacity than X395.
For mine X395 normal used, YouTube, Lowyat browsers, or excel words around 5-6 hours, maybe for T495s can last 6-7 hrs.
About the screen T495s has 400nits while the X395 only 300nits display available in customisation.
From the screen size, X395 = 13.3” vs T495s 14” can’t really tell the difference.
Wanna save some bucks go for X395 more value for money.

About the AMD processor, Ryzen 5 3500U really good than enough to do daily tasks.
No lagging, lesser heats, longer battery life, get Ryzen 5 can do more already.
For Ryzen 7 3700U would be slightly faster 🤔🤔

Oo so normal usage, you won't even notice the difference from ryzen 5 and 7..so i think I'll might go with the ryzen 5 only..extra RM 400 doesn't seem worth it for such a small performance boost ..haha

Yeah, due to their similarity, it's quite hard to choose..but currently in Lenovo website, the price of the x395 is quite good..maybe thinking of buying that instead of t495s.. thank you for your advice.

Some ppl say, T490s and T495s has better paint surface, such as X1 Carbon rubber painted coating.
I am not too sure, just highlighter , rubber painted coating is a bit sticky dusty on surface.

Value for money is X395, for T495s slightly longer screen really can’t tell much.

What about your x395? The Finishing is good right? There's an offer now in Lenovo website..how long does it take for them to ship the laptop?

Yeah..extra 10 wh battery in the T495s.. Other than that.. everything is similar..

Just normal black materic finished, can get scratches easily. But more durable than the rubber paint coating.
