Currently, there is Malaysia day sales. T495 and X395 is very tempted price. Code: MALAYSIA

wonder, if this will be cheaper than CITI45?

If you do compare mine X395 from first page with Citi45 offer
Vs today MALAYSIA code. Both are the same.

Last month Citi45 was cheaper around Rm400
I’m not too sure this coming offer

Too overpriced vs T495/X395 and the heatpipe looks a little underwhelming for the Ryzen.

X395 is small, so it’s more forgive-able if they throttled some performance for that. T495s is a 14” and should compare to T495 (which already having throttled performance).

Apparently Lenovo further constraint the power to only 18W for T495s, unlike 22W for T495. And even with that the fan still somehow underperformed.
https://www.notebookcheck.net/The-ThinkPad-...g.426908.0.html

β€œWe start with the good news: The pulsating of the fan while idling on mains, which is a common issue on many current ThinkPad models, is no problem here. The fan is not very loud in general, either, and often runs at a very low speed, but the frequency is very high and the resulting noise is subjectively very unpleasant. It does not seem to be an isolated incident since both test models suffer from the same issue. The ThinkPad T495, for example, does not have this problem.”

I own many Intel models, very serious Ryzen Pro 3500U is good than enough.

Has not issue like Intel booting up on turbo mode.
Less heat issue on my palmrest with less cpu fan noisy sound.

Haha just up to you, if this time Citi45 still doing that offer.
Just get the T590 lah.
I have no comments.

Actually the 16gb is best configuration. I tried to switch to 16GB after order but Lenovo rep informed that need to cancel 1st order and reorder again.

I feel too troublesome and just keep the 8gb.

You will enjoy the 16gb once you receive the x395.
