If not mistaken there was a problem with the ON/OFF button.
For boiling and stir fry prefer Ceramic and I use Induction for frying frozen food.

if it is hot enough (depend on the ceramic cooktop u use), most likely can. need to use proper wok also, like aluminium wok not easy get wok hei even using gas, best use carbon steel (like those hawker and restaurant use).

also ceramic cooktop, you need flat bottom wok..

Of course not dude, the major difference with ceramic and induction is with ceramic the surface gets hot, it's real heat, that's why you can use any cookware and with induction it uses electromagnetic to induce metal pot/pan, the surface just gets warm

Been using ceramic one + steamer for rice/soup etc and the usual meal cooking 23 days a month cost 30-35 a month only.

Those who say high electricity consumption either never use or hearsay from Dino era pipu.

Even a 1hp aircon cost rm2 a night for operating nine hours.

I bought a ceramic cooker two days ago.

I decided on this because my wife has tons of non-ferrous non-magnetic cookware that we can use with a ceramic cooker.

No need to spend extra money to buy induction cooker specific cookware.

I am boiling a bunch of purple-coloured sweet potatoes right now in a Corning glass pot. Timer set for 35 minutes. smile.gif

Corning glass pot, why glass pot? I thought glass is not a good heat conductor, any benifits?

It is the biggest pot I could find to accommodate the amount of sweet potatoes.

The water started to boil in the glass pot in under 5 minutes. Amazing! smile.gif

An induction cooker should be quite easy to use even without referring to the operation manual. smile.gif
