I am using my gas stove as backup in case of TNB power cut.

Ayam using ceramic, almost 2 years liao and still going strong, about the electric bill shoot up not true, ur air-conditioning use more electric and u can feel it in ur bill.

How do you find cooking with ceramic cooker. Any issues?

Why is a timer important for an induction cooker?

tong gas too big. can this be used as a viable temporary backup in case no electricity? fire hot enough or not?

No issue so far, pots and pans are easy to find as long its flat at the bottom, people said it takes times to heats up but no problem for me, while waiting for my pan to heats up I can cut onions or do other things, and then with ceramic u can bbq meat or fish that u can't with induction.

Induction cookers are more powerful and efficient than ceramics.
Some induction cookers are as powerful as high powered gas cookers.

Ceramics are cheaper to buy, not as powerful and power consumption quite high but unlike induction cookers you could use any pot or pan on it where an induction cookers you won't be able to use some types of pots and pans.

My mom using some infrared cooker or osmething.
Use gas one. Quite power that one.
