for induction cooker to work, you need pot and pan that react to magnetic field. i.e can stick to a magnet. if not it wont work. glass and claypot won't work on induction cooker obviously.

Initially i refused to believe it, but after multiple observation, I concluded that’s the cause.

About 1-2 hours of cooking/day, as only i only has one induction cooker, need to prepare multiple dishes.

Gas stove is faster in heating compared to induction, hence explained the prolong use.

you sure you are using induction? coz i use both gas and induction before. induction cook way faster than gas. the pan heat up in less than one minute (if put max settings, heat up around 25 seconds) vs gas which take more than a minute. boiling 5L water is around 13 min using induction vs 25 min using gas.

Ceramic got some "wok hei" compared to induction?

if it is hot enough (depend on the ceramic cooktop u use), most likely can. need to use proper wok also, like aluminium wok not easy get wok hei even using gas, best use carbon steel (like those hawker and restaurant use).

also ceramic cooktop, you need flat bottom wok..
