Err... I do not mean to choose Lian Li model.
what I mean here is either I upgrade my mobo first or my casing first or my PSU first. Added on August 22, 2007, 4:00 pm QUOTE(mADmAN @ Aug 22 2007, 03:54 PM) =.=" PSU first This post has been edited by temptation1314: Aug 22 2007, 04:00 PM |

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Aug 22 2007, 11:53 PM) huh, usually happens when we remove the side panel of a terrible air flow chassis... but this A05 is different, the front panel clearly something wrong with that heat exhaust fan, i mean a lot of temp drop by removing it, don't u agree? |

Too much turbulence in that tiny space mebe. But yeah I was always of the opinion that alu cases do help reduce temps. My TJ07, the top corner at the rear is burning hot with those 2 gfx cards there. I cant imagine if it was SECC.Now the temps better a bit... which is still on the toasty side. Come to think of it... all those time that I said that aluminum casings doesn't help with cooling.. well open front panel reduce temp dramatically do indicate lack of cold air intake............ it seesm u need to find a way to get more cold air into ur casing..........

hmm .. that's the thing when using BS-03 .. it just ain't that good and effective ...
I prefer BS-02 with side blow hole coz it could bring in cool air directly to the gc and let the gc to do the hot air exhaust ... Actually don't need high CFM fan over gc zone ... just push around 40 cfm will do very well already. As for the rear intake it's a must since the cool air brought in by the rear fan can cool off CPU and mobo area + ram as well ... but make sure it isn't too high CFM fan as well as it would drags the hot air exhaust by the gc as well .... |

Faster rpm needed to push air in and out of restrictive environment. Wife will be away for the next days so will have time to do some tiny tweaks here and there.QUOTE(E-J@1 @ Aug 23 2007, 10:29 AM) i think it's more lacking on the exhaust fan - fail to exhaust the heat The temps inside the case is too hot to begin with... lots of back pressure as I can feel air coming out of every free hold in the case.why? look at the CPU temp - drop 8C! --> lack of intake??? the cooler is the first component to get the fresh air The Tcase (air temps inside the case) is 42C which is 10C higher than room temps. In my old "Akasa".. the ambient vs tcase is almost equal. QUOTE(Doom @ Aug 23 2007, 11:40 AM) hmm .. that's the thing when using BS-03 .. it just ain't that good and effective ... hahah will chopping it helps without the side blow hole ???
I understand that scarifying the box look for a sake of 5c of temperature drop is too much ... probably u could cut the top part of the case for fresh air ... it would looks better with radiator grill selling by uglyvamp ... I'm getting the dual rad grill for finishing touch in future case mod... |
