Is the LL A05 suitable to be used with a non-modular PSU? Seems to be small and restrict cable management.
No problem dude .. even a non modular high end power supply could fit in without sweat ... The Lian Li League V3.0, Wheeeeeeee V3.0 already!

hahaha .. I've read that long before .... couple years back before ..
He could get such mirror shine out of patience and right polishing liquid... If u use Autosol U can't get the same detail or shine like him... Autosol just not fine and detail enough ... u could PM Cableguy what kind of polisher he uses and where he got it ... |

Hhaha ..Normally I don't need to switch off my PSU .. coz usually I just unplug all the plugs connected to the power socket.
Yah u need to remove the front panel to gain access to the power switch behind of the PSU .... Anyway just got back from ATE today ... BS-02 still out of stock and Billy said he's trying to get some and he wants me to confirm how many units that LYN forumer wants .... so that he could be certain how many units to bring in .... as for the CD-ROM bezel there are plenty for black at the price of RM35 each ...so go grab it while stock last .... Using Autosol only allowed u to polish it back to the way it is but not mirror shine .... it just can't .. I tried myself ... an hour long polishing the surface of an aluminum but it just won't shine likes mirror..... I tried modeling kit's polisher and it works better in term of getting better polishing result but it's still far from mirror shine.... |

I heard about Lian Li when it was first introduce here back around 1998 ...
I'm not sure that's the Lian Li case or not but it should be coz it's the only case at that time that comes in full aluminum without PSU yet cost RM800 per unit ... My brother told me how he wished to grab one of those ... but too bad until now .. he's still using CM 530 only ... |

hehehe ,, the two fans are joined with zip tie ... Then it's tight to the rear exhaust holes with wire strip... And there are two PCI slot bracket that screwed at the bottom of the fan as supporter .. .most won't realized it .. hheheh look carefully in the picture ,,, there's a bit of shine at the bottom of the fans... There's no side blow holes were done coz there's no need for the passive cooling 7300GT .... the dual fan already more than enough to cool off the card.. Besides the owner only play simple 3D game with the rig .. it just can't torture the card too much .... This post has been edited by Doom: Jul 8 2007, 09:23 PM |

Most likely it will be able to fits in ... as long as u don't tight the thumb screw so deep down ...
Yah it could tolerate and fit in ,,,, but the best would be u bring the PSU to test it out ... on the safe side.... |

Depend u configuration ... if U would be u I would just make side patent fan serve as intake for gc and south bridge..
While the rear set to exhaust to take out the hot air taken from the top ... |

yah a bit but just screws it down and there would be slight gap about 1 to 2 mm ....
so have to push the burner out slightly to match the gap ... but there's no real problem at all coz the drive's tray able to eject properly . |

QUOTE(Polar_012 @ Jul 14 2007, 12:00 AM) Thats according to the guy at ATE. Nope it won't, I been cleaning all my cases with cleaning detergent ... Is it okay to clean the anodised black alumunium surface with a clean cloth and kiwi kleen dish washer? Will dish washer react with aluminium? No problem at all .. coz it won't damage the surface at all .. It just remove the dust and some oily finger prints... |

@Polar_012
Are u sure it's fine for the processor to run with passive cooling on Ultra-120 ?? I thought Ultra-120 series required high CFM fan to utilize it's performance.. Anyway share some 'Cacing' over here .... @kalakatu Why on earth do u need to mod G7 ... it's a great case for both cable management and cooling performance... |

QUOTE(Polar_012 @ Jul 15 2007, 01:16 AM) Not very sure because my temps reading is totally wrong. Now showing at 22C at bios Yah ...for the fan clips to work properly u have to apply the pin into the heatsink hole nicely before attach the fan ...I put my fan 3-pin socket to the CPU fan header and the fan won't spin...had to off the smart fan method at bios. Now installed a fan but i can't seem to install the fan clip properly. The air above my rams are cooler. Before this very hot. |

Basically the side patent fan that WebWalker refers to Lian Li own side fan frame with fan ..
There are two model BS-02, BS-03 ..there should be another one which is currently no more available ... But still could get it from some other older model ... BS-02 draw or exhaust according to the fandiection directly .. while BS-03 uses the fan frame as air guide to exhaust air .. |
