hey, not sure if you guys can help me or not. My car seems to have uneven braking. Twice already...I brake (not so) hard and only the left front tyre locked. The tyres are only 1 year old and got plenty of thread. Is there something I can do so that it doesn't lock again?

I also worry a bit. Not once, but twice jam on left side. Safety first...but the second brake lock may have been caused by sand on the road...not really sure but last week there were lots of sand on that side of the road. How much is overhauling brake kit gonna cost?
oh ya, does anyone know if this kind of bumper exist for the Wira? The photo is a bit blur but that MyVi's rear bumper got holes...to improve airflow I think. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Is there something I can do so that it doesn't lock again? check the brake pad of both sides in front 1st. because sometimes chapalang brake pad they can jam at the housing. make sure the brake pads can move sideway in and out at the house when the brake caliper is loosen. sometimes application of rubber grease at the edge of the brake pads might be good.then check if there is any leakage from the brake piston rubber seal. if there is leakage then u can also go buy the piston seal and replace it yourself then purge the air out. |
