If that is the case, I rather have my spare tyre in the trunk than to tow it if puncture

Mostly will be the MIVEC for power because its the most powerful NA engine in stock form legally for a Wira. 92 DOHC non MIVEC is very very rare, as for SOHC, some transplanted it too for more power at the low end range for city driving.

QUOTE(CoupeFan @ Jul 3 2007, 08:50 PM) Nope... MIVEC same characteristic as campro...power kicks in at 5k rpm same characteristics as Campro? Are you really sure?Added on July 3, 2007, 8:51 pmsometimes i think proton trying to produce a replica (cap ayam) version of mivec...since they use the mitsubishi engine to modify MIVEC technology is exactly the same as power VTEC brother |

think of it this way, MIVEC H/C now also 6.5K for manual (I assume you take manual to enjoy), transplanting cost + parts cost and etc, you will end up with 10K already
Even the 4G93 NA DOHC also increase price around 5K range liao due to hot demand....all thanks to JPJ CoupeFan : Proton is trying hard, but if you talking about MIVEC, go back to 1992 and read its history ler....and compare it with Honda's B16A. that is the correct comparison, not some Campro. |

But some Mitsubishi original 1.5 auto GB don't have OD button
You take a look at Roy's current auto GB, no OD button, Mitsubishi 1 This post has been edited by shinjite: Jul 5 2007, 07:23 PM |

QUOTE(young_soul @ Jul 6 2007, 11:49 PM) Apexi brand much better. Less maintenance and cleans better. But the shopkeeper told me have to change every 5 years or so. K&N brand I think can last longer, but doesn't clean as well and need to clean the filter quite often. Not really.....K&N doesn't get dirty that fast |

QUOTE(Tainted @ Jul 8 2007, 07:10 PM) I wonder whether any of u 1.3 owner changed ur transmission to Auto? I suggest better dont do it, even 1.5 auto also ppl are complaining underpoweredIs it ok to do so if it was to be used for city driving?FC? If u convert to auto and u complain that manual eats FC and underpower, just don't do it Plus you will get more power loss to the wheels and torque |
