Apexi brand much better. Less maintenance and cleans better. But the shopkeeper told me have to change every 5 years or so. K&N brand I think can last longer, but doesn't clean as well and need to clean the filter quite often.

QUOTE(HughieRmX @ Jul 9 2007, 07:25 AM) Greetings Guys ! any car...when its low fuelled won't show proper fuel reading. Basically your fuel meter, if below 1/4 will never be accurate. 10 bucks is definitely below 1/4 tank. You'll need to pump full tank then only properly calculate your car's mileage.Recently I just got myself a Proton Wira ... but then the petrol meter seems to be always inaccurate ? Regards, HughiE |

QUOTE(ckkean @ Jul 9 2007, 11:54 PM) I'm also a turtle like you air-cond on = cannot drive fast, save fuel but fuel power air-condEven with air-cond on/off, there's no big different in FC. Maybe a very slight difference only. One thing always annoyed me is when my wira 1.5 Auto climb hill, the fuel meter gone down very quick . Now i'm on 15" wheel, my FC is even higher, really regretted changed the wheel size. air cond off = can drive fast, vroom, vroom, vroom...makan fuel if you really wanna save fuel, try those fuel saver products. Sometimes it helps. Don't waste your money on few hundred dollar products. Try those K-tablet things...maybe it'll help kazami13, what's a throttle body? Part of engine? try those accessories shops like Brothers. They have lots of parts for Wira, but I didn't see the original grills. Original bumpers got though.

QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ Jul 22 2007, 03:12 PM) Just asking if can fit. but you do need power if you want to drive your family around. 1.3 just isn't enough. But for me, better stick with 1.3. I dont want to trash that wira. I ride before with 1.6. scare while @160 The car shaking like mad and floating. I will buy a new Proton model equip with Campro+CPS & VIM if i really want more power. For me, if i want power, i'll get myself a satria and transplant a mivec. Wira is my family car, cannot trash it kaw2. has anyone tried Cyclone3 from Eneos? Sounds nice but its RM160 a piece. Wonder if its affective. Says to add power without FC compromise. |

QUOTE(lee831219 @ Jul 22 2007, 05:04 PM) Its some piece of metal that makes the air going into the engine swirl. Fitted into the tube of the air filter. All it does is mix the air intake...but they promote like its very effective...QUOTE(shinjite @ Jul 23 2007, 01:26 AM) 93p is higher with 10.5:1 whao...I think I just blew a fuse. What's with the ratio? 92p 2nd with 10:1 4G13p is 9.5:1 & 4G15p is 9.2:1, if its the 4G15 DOHC then its 9.5:1 If its 1.6 92 MIVEC, then its 11:1 |

does anyone here have experience with Zenden air filters?
Kazami, you mention you have a drop in air filter...like K&N brand? How did it affect your FC or noise level? Worth the money? This post has been edited by young_soul: Jul 30 2007, 02:13 PM |

I also felt a huge vibration once...rear right tyre...and I was going at only 110kmph. After I slow down and check, the vibration was gone. Could just have been the unbalanced road. Either way I bought stabilizer bars for safety.
