I just watched the original Stargate movie (1994) today....not 1080 unfortunately.

Story 2.5/5 started off great and promising but it's just Egyptian slave story in space

Pacing: kinda slow

Effects: ok la, not bad for its time

Cast: got Kurt Russell but ultimately it feels like Rambo in space, looking to suicide to forget stuff

Not gonna start the series, maybe read synopsis of the 2 dvd movies

But saw critics gave C- due to overused CGI execution wor?!

Probably due to that "CAT". Haha! I am ok with that.
Like it or not is subjective.

They is 3 release of this film, 1st release Blu-ray was pretty bad in PQ.

You need to watch the Stargate: 20th Anniversary (3rd) release or Stargate: 15th Anniversary (2nd release).
Heard 3rd release seems is same identical release of 2nd release, but definitely cannot watch the 1st release.

I am waiting release this film in 4K HDR. Haha! I am big fans of Stargate. Haha!
TV Series basically did better than movie all the while.

good action movies but not a good F&F franchise.
Looks like they r shrink lots of budget.. replace it with CGI. less exotics cars going around.. too much of Dom..oh i miss wonderwomen in the series

Damn funny one of the famous actor from FF series didn't participate in F9, releasing Jungle Cruise at the same time to compete the Dom family

not only f9 but he seems no longer interested for FF series

Maybe he read the script and found out about an indestructible space car then decided to pass.

agree.. very nice cgi some of the scene even look like animation.. sound effect wise even better than FF9. certainly more enjoyable than ff9

Jungle Cruise - family movie, ok, but somehow it does not come across as great. 3/5.

Great cast, though - Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Edgar Ramirez, Jesse Plemons, Paul Giamatti - all well known names.


F9 or Fast & Furious 9... err... disappointing, they better stop making more!

so ridiculous to see a jet with claws that catch a falling car... and a rocket powered car going into space... man, they lost it. 2.5/5.



sidenote: fans of walking dead - there is a 4 part season called ORIGINS... the stories of the surviving cast after 10 seasons - daryl, maggie, negan, carol. much like a recap of the whole 10 seasons.

come aug 22, season 11 debuts - the final season. beyond that, there is a trilogy of movies planned... dunno when.

no matter how bad FF is, still going to watch it hahahah
