Hi all, Note 9 sent for warranty but planning to let it go to change to OnePlus 7 Pro.

However, I have my reserve...

I know asking in OP7 Pro topic might not be bias free but minta tolong!

If you like simplicity, efficiency and fluidity, you will definitely appreciate the advantages of the OP7 Pro vs the Note 9. Samsung’s interface, which is leaps and bounds ahead of their TouchWiz back in those days, still has a fair amount of bloatware which can annoy some people (like myself). And whether it’s because of the bloatware or because of the Exynos chip, every other Samsung flagship I have tried since the S8 had abnormal battery drain overnight (sometimes even up to 8% with Location, WiFi and Mobile Data turned off). This is one of my pet peeves with Samsung phones. My OP7 Pro on the other hand, drains at about 2-3% overnight with everything left on. You mentioned battery life - Both the Note 9 and OP 7 Pro have 4000mAh batteries so I’d expect them to be pretty similar in terms of usage - in fact there is even a possibility that the OP7 Pro consumes more battery due to the higher screen refresh rate, but if you take into account standby battery drain, then this is where you’ll see the OP7 Pro shine.

Your other points are all valid. OP7 Pro’s camera isn’t bad, but it’s not as good as Samsung’s just yet. Expendable storage, a 3.5mm wireless jack, wireless charging and notification LED are all nice to haves and definitely score points for the Note 9 vs the OP7 Pro, not to mention also the S-Pen (I hardly used it when I owned my Notes 5,8 and 9 respectively though). I wouldn’t be overly concerned about the OP7 Pro’s under display fingerprint reader vs the Note 9’s physical capacitive one though. It’s just as reliable and as fast almost 95% of the time.

If you like Samsung’s ecosystem but hardly ever used the S-Pen, then another phone you could consider is the S10+. I had my fair share of frustrations with it, but it’s a very good, all-rounder phone. They’ve released numerous software fixes to address two of my biggest annoyance - standby battery drain and the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor but I sold my phone off way before that so I have no idea how much better it is these days.

Or if you get your phone back after warranty, it’s still worth keeping the Note 9 for the next few months till the S11 is released and consider your options then. The Note 9 is still a good phone.

By the way, mind asking what happened to your Note 9 that resulted in the warranty claim?

Another Eden

The game features the collaboration of writer Masato Kato and music composer Yasunori Mitsuda who both worked on Xenogears and the Chrono series of role-playing games. Another Eden involves time travel elements, where players explore different points in time.

This happened to me before too where during scrolling, there is stuttering. But after clearing cache somehow the problem goes away.

Er guys, it is because Chrome's latest update stops the 90hz mode... it reverted back to 60hz.
