Hi all, wanna ask anyone here using US set? I checked gsmarena and saw they have a slight difference in their band compared the international variant. I wonder if that'll affect the LTE performance in Malaysia. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Thx My only complain is that after install it makes the phone very heavy. The Whitestone dome is lighter and easier to install, but it's so freaking expensive. |

QUOTE(StratOS @ Jul 16 2019, 11:18 AM) same DIY, no bubbles.not ever sign of coming off 2 problem caused by my own, 1) forgot to check for bubble after placing TG and before drying, now got 3 micro bubble (<1mm each) in middle of screen. 2) dropped my phone on the corner, case pushed on the TG and it came off on the corner. |

Hey guys, a while back I said that the hydrogel ~ RM13+ was the better version of hydrogel out there. Turns out the oleophobic coating did fail after 3-4 days of usage. The first few days were flawless, almost glass smooth. But after that it went bad pretty quickly.
Then, I installed TMax TG bought from sakurazz. This was my first ever installation of UV glue TG. TG usually hold their oleophobic coating far far greater then your typical plastic film SP. I did messed up my installation a bit. Here are my personal recommendation if you're going to install a full UV glue TG. 1. Taping the upper speaker grill will help you align your TG greatly. You'll noticed that the upper bezel is smaller than the lower bezel. If you tape your upper speaker grill just enough to cover the grill, you'll end up with a near perfect TG alignment. 3 tapes were provided with the TG. 2. When you drip the UV glue, dont squeeze the tube too hard. You'll get bubbles in the glue blob. You can get rid of the bubbles using the dust tape. You'll probably need a flashlight to ensure no small bubbles reside in the UV glue blob. With the screen off, you cant see the mini bubbles. I got 3 miniscule bubbles on my installation. Not visible in dark background. Only with white background you'll notice the bubbles. Like right now when I'm typing this. Haih.... 3. Make sure your hands are not contaminated with the wet UV glue during installation. It'll leave prints on your TG. 4. I used a powerbank to power the provided UV light. It'll turn off automatically around 1min or less. Not sure if its my powerbank or all powerbank behave like this. But its a good thing cause you can switch position each time it powered off. 5. Only wipe the spilled glue when the UV glue is almost or already dried. Dont wipe it when its still wet. Your cloth/tissue will absorb the glue from the edges if its still wet. Those were my personal noob opinion when installing the full UV glue TG. Case compatibility? 100% with all the cases that I have. Added bulk/weight? I dont feel any difference. Quite possibly because the phone itself is substantial heavy, and adding the case as well. TLTR - go get sakurazz's help if you're not confident. |

It will get very hot after some time, I know cuz used it for ~40min (on-off few times), cannot touch by hand afterwards. |
