The general trend seems to be the Big 4 losing customers to the MVNOs, not because of any unlimited plans.

for the unlimited social facebook and instagram, is it only on app? if i use the mobile browser to surf, does it consider as unlimited too?

i filed complain about weak signal strength of only 2 bars 4G and very unstable network which keep switching between 3G / H+ / 4G

but i get reply of high usage & network congestion in the area

number of users have effects on signal strength??!!

Of course. When it's congested, you will be served by a cell tower that are located further as every cell tower could only accommodate a certain amount of users.

correct me if i'm wrong. each tower can only accommodate a certain number of users, more than that then it will ride on some other tower.

Yes, if congested then will allocated 3G or backhauls to another cell towers.

No point to complaint to them. They just keep saying sorry and will bring the matter up to the higher level. Then case closed.
The best way is to lodged complaint at SKMM website, let the case pending to close, the more people of your area submit it, the faster they will solve the problem or else they will get fine if the problem not solved.

Basically you are sharing signal with other users from the tower. The signal is like an invisible road with multiple lanes. So yes, if the tower gets overly congested, the signal maybe weaken or SNR (Signal To Noise Ratio) will increase .
This is shown in apps such as Network Cell Info Lite

If you want it to be more stable, either you lock it on 4g mode (that means not Auto 3g/4g mode)
or switch to 3G mode only (this improves signal strength)
Bear in mind that locking on a weak 4g signal means your battery consumption will be higher and higher chances of No Signal.

To lock into 4g mode u need MTK engineering app to do so.

You have to understand that majority of telco CS agents are not technically trained. they are only trained to follow scripts and SOP. so yes they always appear either robotic or idiots. because they are monitored for every call and chat.
