Hi , I just ported one of my Yoodo sim card to DIGI
Using it for my Wireless BB.

Was wondering besides Internet Cili padi XL RM 28 is there other option for just only Youtube?
Like previously on Yoodo, they had add on 20GB Youtube.

So my consumption on youtube on Yoodo, like every month nearly 20GB addon sure finish.
Plus my 30GB base data = Close to 50GB

Currently for first time I subscribe to biGBonus RM40 , 9GB.
They gave me Digi Best Prepaid MNP version
So everytime have to limit myself after 8pm until 12am so that not to drain the 2GB + 7GB main data.
Now temporary 8am-6pm got free MCO until further notice. What I'm afraid next time no more free MCO, from 8am-1pm have to use the main data.

P.s- I have nothing against Yoodo, love their plans but due to their 3G at my other place is rather disappointing had to switch.

no wor bro. Apparently it's slightly different.
For my pre-paid I get free 1gb from 12am till 8am daily for life. But I don't get the 2.5Gb Video Freedom.



I asked Digi CS and they said Yes I can switch over to Live plan if I want, but I think I will stick to this Best plan for a moment.

Btw my wife is on Digi Pre-paid Live. I tried subscribe once Unlimited Video Lite 1 day then switch on hotspot and it worked. So I presume hotspot Youtube is allowed in Best pre-paid.

But can I combine like, subscribe 1 Internet Cili Padi and another Big Bonus plan?

Need to open DIGI website, goto their MyDigi webpage, check Usage, baru can see when it expire. Like hidden info..
if use MyDIGI app wont show the MCO expiry date.

Last time Yoodo keep on adding to the base data. So I also keep accumulating..

Now they change - Must manually redeem the MCO data every 24 hours. And MCO quota is separate like DIGI.
Expiration date? - Until further notice..

Bro, I am a good example of hotspot. Using it as Wireless BB.
I wish I had that 100GB , all-day data quota.

I'm new to DIGI, but previously when I was on Yoodo, I clock up monthly 50GB average.
I customise for 30-40GB base data and 20GB Youtube.
So maybe for you 100GB wipe out very quickly.

Using it to watch Youtube watching "Cinema" movies (name of the app) , and wifey uses it for VIU and IFlix.

Now my only major concern is that even though Digi has this BIGBonus and free midnight 12am-8am 1GB
Which sounds like equals to 100GB over.
(Btw I signed up for BigBonus 40 plan)

This Free MCO data helps me fill the gap from 8am-1pm but not forever.
So I restrict myself cannot do any video streaming i.e 8am until 1pm , and after 7pm till 12am. - Or else it will eat the Base data.

I still have my another Yoodo line to help me fill in these timing gaps.

Let DIGI announce whether there is an extension or not..
Meanwhile , Yoodo already long time announce - Free 1GB until "further notice".

If really Free 1GB then those on BigBonus will untung.
1GB + 2 or 3GB free = 3-4GB free per day.

Bro. im still using 3g up to this day.
my wireless BB router is 3g. and only 7.2mbps version . Still using it.
I and wifey also have 4G phones. but sometimes prefer stick to 3g mode for balance of stronger signal and battery saving.
cause we only use for Whatsapp, FB and sometimes YouTube.

my mom and dad is one of them. My mom is on OneXox and she can survive on a 1gb plan. Don't even know how to use YouTube. only know WhatsApp and some FB.
Home got Unifi lagi hardly use the data.
Every month roll over at least 3/4 of 1gb. Or more.
Now she has like 3 hours of roll over talktime sometimes I ask her - How u wanna use, lol.

Meaning 1gb x 30days = 30gb per day but only on 1pm-7pm
The rest of the time calculated as 300mb per day if u want to really control and save that 9gb

Basically you are sharing signal with other users from the tower. The signal is like an invisible road with multiple lanes. So yes, if the tower gets overly congested, the signal maybe weaken or SNR (Signal To Noise Ratio) will increase .
This is shown in apps such as Network Cell Info Lite

If you want it to be more stable, either you lock it on 4g mode (that means not Auto 3g/4g mode)
or switch to 3G mode only (this improves signal strength)
Bear in mind that locking on a weak 4g signal means your battery consumption will be higher and higher chances of No Signal.

To lock into 4g mode u need MTK engineering app to do so.

You have to understand that majority of telco CS agents are not technically trained. they are only trained to follow scripts and SOP. so yes they always appear either robotic or idiots. because they are monitored for every call and chat.
