I agree with you. I study back my data usage on my phone, the highest data consumption is social media such as Facebook. I seldom watch Youtube on the phone. If you less use phone call, it is good to subscribe the Chili Padi RM28 package which comes with 4GB +2G (promo) + unlimited Youtube and social media valid for 30 days. I think this is better than Hotlink Prepaid Unlimited data and call. I am not sure the unlimited has any fair use policy (FUP) or not just like Hotlink Prepaid.

Maybe that day when Unlimited for RM35 was "leaked", it was a deliberate act by Digi to troll the Hotlink team

I saw a group at FB discuss about the Digi unlimited plan. Someone did subscribe the plan at the price RM0 and it is valid for 24 hours only and he did show the RM 35 unlimited data valid for 24 hours screenshot. I think maybe Digi did the test to see consumer usage behavior probably might not join the war but instead offer the plan which highly consumed data. After that, the apps and website down for maintenance.

No point to complaint to them. They just keep saying sorry and will bring the matter up to the higher level. Then case closed.
The best way is to lodged complaint at SKMM website, let the case pending to close, the more people of your area submit it, the faster they will solve the problem or else they will get fine if the problem not solved.

Prepaid segment is less loyal and the revenue stream is less because customers will keep switching plans to suit their lifestyles or port out without hold backs from unsettled outstanding bills.

However it becomes a real contender and threat to Postpaid if priced low enough to attract the masses.
Also a brilliant idea to improve financial revenue standing in the shortest time. You'll see suddenly Maxis, Celcom and Umobile's financial results for this quarter will suddenly be noticed by analysts.

I think because of the telco competition and new prepaid plan offer. Seldom to see the telco do the offer for postpaid or prepaid to make sure they will continue to loyal with them. Usually postpaid need to change plan if you found out your current plan is no longer good deal.

i really hope they improve the postpaid 50 plan for loyal customer like me...

Just change your plan. Digi will not offer anything special for loyal customer. But maybe the rewards based on your membership type, yellow, gold or platinum.

cant understand how digi select user for their promo rclxub.gif

I think they select based on your spending and usage behavior. The system will automatic select. or probably your mom still using the old prepaid plan such as Best, P2P or etc?
