I don't think it has ever given cashback for petrol...

Is it? Because i ask for recommendation in the thread someone recommend me and say it provides cashback for petrol. That’s why i apply for this card.....

I traced back the thread, the person was recommending you to 'wave' the Quantum Visa card at petrol station counter with minimum RM30.00.  That's how he suggested to you on how to get cashback for petrol.
*
Yup, and i saw that the current revision say no cashback on transactions made in Petrol station. So i guess even if i wave the Visa card for paying my petrol i wont get any cashback too? Maybe i misunderstood his sentence that Quantum card provide cashback for petrol smile.gif should have read more by my own. There are too many cc out there, trying hard to screen them by myself lol

Hi, sorry for asking stupid question, but is flexipay similar to installment? These terms are very new to me as i dont have any cc before. doh.gif
I saw in some post that need to call to convert into flexipay, how does it work?
So if it is same as the installment, then any transaction before 1st December using Quantum Visa can be listed under the 0% flexipay plan?

yes installment but per transaction basis.

min RM1.2k per transaction, call CS to convert to 0% 12mth Flexipay (before 1 Dec 2019)

I see. So it is the matter between me and the bank only right? Not between me and the retailer? I still pay like a transaction but just call to CS to convert to flexipay?

Thank you!

Btw, also asking for reviews on the PBe apps. Do you guys think the app is actually good to use or just not user friendly? I read most of the reviews in app store are actually having bad ratings on this app lol

Random question, why it seems like most people having their statement date on middle of the month? Is it better to be so?

Can settle the outstanding balance on 9th after I got salary during month end.
*
But if the statement date is on the end of the month, you can also settle the balance after a few days you got your salary? and the payment will not be like near to the due.

Just being curious, sorry if i offended you.

Apart from the salary thing, somehow I will always have some spending on or before 20th, so I'll usually wait till 21st to swipe the card. let's say I spend on 21st Dec, then the payment will be only settled on 9th Feb  biggrin.gif

So I even purposefully changed my statement date to 20th for new cards.
*
Oh, so the settlement period will be lengthen since the spending on 21st onwards are consider to be the next statement?

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Dec 22 2019, 07:27 PM)
errrr why did you assume "most people" are having statement date middle of the month?

everyone has different needs. some dont care.

usually, the primary reason is to coincide the due date slightly after salary day (again, not everyone's the same, but usually 4th week or even 1st week of the following month!)

if you are a good paymaster, you gain the +20days grace period for payment.

e.g.

gaji day = 29th
cc statement date = 9th
cc payment due date = statement date + 20days = 29th

ngamngam you pay the cc on your salary day.
again, some also dont care and some immediately pay after statement date (those dont feel like having outstanding).  sweat.gif

Erm maybe i should rephrase, is a lot of people? Lol. Because i saw a lot of posts asking on stuffs since mid of month. Thats why i am asking. Sorry if i am being offensive.

Hi wanna ask that anyone has the problem in logging in the Public Bank engage app (the new ver). Never get to login since i installed the apps lol. Have been calling CS to rectify the issue and they say that my line/wifi is too weak(???) so i couldn’t login. Ask me to login via laptop reset wifi router and all other stuffs. I have tried but still cannot login. Kinda fed up with the new app. Hopefully the old app don’t discontinue that soon
