I think SEA Group now rectified it, assign a relevant payment channel according to business natures.

Shopee Malaysia - online shopping, the system will choose either the channel served by Maybank (Shopee Malaysia.. MY) or the new channel served by Public Bank (Shopee.. MY)
Shopeepay Malaysia - Ewallet business, the only channel is Shopeepay...MY (served by Maybank).
For Shopee Digital Goods by Alipay Malaysia - Alipay Malaysia...MY (I cannot confirm this channel is served by Maybank or another bank)

Auto debit is not an online transaction, you need to use Great Eastern e-pay with OTP verification to be an online transaction. BTW Insurance transaction is not eligible for monthly and campaign rebate.

Insurance transaction is no longer entitled for the monthly cashback since last year. Please refer to the latest PDS/T&C.

P/S: Government-related transactions, petrol transactions, E-wallet transactions are no longer entitled for the monthly cashback. Doesn't matter online or not.

Family MART was not Groceries in 2019.

For the time being, SARAWAK PAY-EC and SPAYGLOBAL-EC and SILICONNET TECH-EC are using MCC9399 (Government-related transactions), as they are owned and funded by Sarawak Government. Not eligible for Online CB because of Government-related transaction, not because of ewallet transaction.

But you will earn random CB (to be used for next transaction) from using SPay Global.

I know. But I felt some people might have confused with Family Mart so I replied.

Nothing to do with PB, should dispute with Shopee Malaysia Sdn Bhd if it is an order under Shopee Malaysia Sdn Bhd, not Airpay Malaysia or ShopeePay.

For some items at Shopee, the shipping charge is only RM1.50 to RM5, but you may use the coins (which can be mined F.O.C. from Shopee games and events) for 25% of order value. In some cases, it may be better than Lazada.

Err, different people different preference.
For M2U, you can't hide any accounts, too transparent!
For PBe, you can manually add/remove bank accounts, the hacker won't see everything.

SSL verification - Online, no need OTP
Direct debit - not Online

You won't know till it is posted. Once the transaction is posted (a few days after transaction) call PB to check the payment mode.

Online CB - not excluded
Campaign CB - excluded
