SeaMoney Malaysia don't accept credit card yet, temporarily borrow the payment gateway from Shopee Malaysia first. It is the internal issue within SEA Group, the bank can't do anything.
SPaylater (SeaMoney) not under Shopeepay/Airpay and Shopee.
But if one day, SeaMoney get its own gateway, the MCC is emoney equivalent (similar to Cyro, casino), then GG, worse than Ewallet transaction.

How your card issuer know what you spend? The card issuer never knows I buy Setel credit, pay SPaylater or buy a mobile phone!

Of course Sea Group can change the process without informing us in the future...

You -> ShopeePay/Airpay -> SeaMoney if Sea Group wants to boost up the turnover of Airpay Malaysia S/B.

PB don't know what you pay for, they can change MCC for Shopee Kuala Lumpur MY but MCC6540 / 6051 / 6012 is not relevant to Shopee's business.

Spy is not really an issue. People at SEA Group (including Shopee Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Airpay Malaysia Sdn Bhd a.k.a ShopeePay Malaysia Sdn Bhd, SeaMoney Capital Malaysia Sdn Bhd) are smarter than us, they can change the processes anytime they want.

To be safe, swipe at the merchant using Public Bank card machine (eg Mr DIY), most likely same date posting.

Just wait for a few days, automatically you will get an answer, you can't perform any transaction until you receive the card.

Can use QM to top up Lazada Wallet on special days to win 5%-12% rebate (Lazada Wallet).

Some sellers at Lazada or Shopee.

If you use Maybank CC, it will be diverted to another gateway (by Maybank) "Shopee Pay ... MY" so no CB.

You need to find out the MCC of the particular card machine at AEON CS.

Most of them use MCC5311-Departmental (eg Aeon Kuching Sentral) then no Grocery CB for PB VS.
There are some machines use MCC5411-Groceries then YES you will get Grocery CB for PB VS.
(If you swipe at the card machine provided by Maybank, you may see AEON SMKT at the transaction slip).
