Just to provide my eWallet transaction report: PBB VS transaction on 21-APR for TnG eWallet top-up still gives me cashback.

It means that any eWallet transactions that was performed post 27-APR on PBB cards no longer give cashback.

Just to confirm, PBB CB is calculated based posting date am I right? Going for a car service later & AFAIK, they use Maybank terminal & my statement date is tomorrow. Thinking of using my PBB Quantum Visa & hopefully it will use the June CB quota.

Called CS about the cashback limit issue & after checking with his senior, he told me that this is due to my statement which falls on 1st of the month therefore the cashback limit will follow the new T&C.

Told him that "friends" were told that PBB is aware of this issue & will rectify the missing cashback & the CS was surprised.

In the end, he said he'll appeal to the mgmt for me. Sigh.

Yea, I told him it makes no sense that they're giving me the old cashback rate but implement me new cashback limit. He agreed but he said that he's just passing the message he received from his "officer' which I assumed was his senior.

Anyway, will keep a look out for any backdated cashback & see how it goes.

Weird since the first few who reported this issue mentioned that the CS admitted the mistake & will rectify accordingly? It looks to me like now the CS are denying the mistake & will "help" to escalate to mgmt for further review.

I guess PBB CS have come up with a standardized script to handle this CS inquiry.

Weird, somehow this month no cashback for PIB Visa when I reloaded RM750 to ShopeePay. Has there been a revision again? I checked the T&C but didn't see any exclusion for eWallet though.

Ahh it's OK, lesson learnt lol. I was a day too early since the transaction, posting & statement dates all fall on the same day (1-OCT). I thought by making the transaction on the first day, it will be calculated for October's cashback but it end up going into September's due to the statement date being 1-OCT. doh.gif

OK, that's super weird since I don't have any transaction on this PIB MC card for that period of time since this card only gives cashback for grocery & departmental store but somehow I was credited with this reward.

As you can see above, I only made transfer to the card for payback in November & after that, I only use it again on 12-21 JAN for ZCity.

Can't show you the screenshot from the PBB website since the 2 months ago statement is blank.

OK, I solved the mystery. That RM50 reward was for my spent on PBB Quantum MC which I've recently cancelled so I guess they channel the reward to my PIB MC instead.
