It seem from my latest 28/4 statement the >RM30 min spend to get cash back has not been activated.

Basically the new TnC had not been effect since announcement, at least for the month of April. Need others to continue monitor and gamble for May

Sorry if this question sounded stupid, if lets say for Grab and Shopee, if I choose to check out directly using card (Quantum MC) instead of reload into their respective wallet, its still eligible for cashback as long >RM30 right? Since its considered online transaction instead of ewallet reload?

You need to say goodbye to Quantum VS also if you decide to cancel.... unless someone tried and they allow to cancel individual card

Quantum Visa and MC can be cancelled separately
*
Confirmed? I assume since they come in pairs cancellation have to be done in pairs also. Any particular reason to give for the cancellation? (Like last time can use SST as a reason to cancel off 1 card for Maybank 2 cards, now they dont allow anymore)

If really can cancel i would like to cancel and replace with PBB Islamic Platinum I also

Yes, confirmed. Actually, can apply separately too.

Never know about this.... always thought they come in pairs. Even all the promotional material show the card in pairs. The credit limit is also combined...

A rough checkpoint for e-wallet: If it stores money in the app then e-wallet that is
*
i think still depends on the merchant code or category. For example Zus wallet (for the coffee) doesn't count as ewallet eventhough it stores money. Correct me if I'm wrong

is "shopeepay later" also 50/50?
*
Shopeepay later should be eligible for cashback since its considered online transaction, as long you spend > RM30

maybe it's time to terminate some cards from pbb
*
Quantum VS is still good. Quantum MC also still quite decent but ewallet reload not eligible for cashback does make it less desirable compared to last time

I'm considering replacing Quantum MC with PBBi Visa Platinum.... unless they nerf ewallet reloads out of that as well

Just wondering.... both my Quantum cards are charged SST on Feb this year. Is it still possible to reverse it if I call or email PBB now?

Call CS for this request, last time I was encountered a nice CS and got SST rebate instantly for both of my Quantum Cards and was having a nice conversation.

She told me that 1st year of using any credit card required to pay SST after I've asked for SST rebate for PiB Visa Card that I was applied this year.
*
So i just called CS. Was given a short lecture by the guy on why i didnt called earlier sweat.gif i just came out with some BS that I didnt realised the SST etc. He "checked with management" and after a while told me my request was granted, still reminding me to call earlier next time

with no more ewallet cashback entitlement and even the minimum cashback for online is rm30, no more point of having both card

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Jun 16 2022, 02:05 PM)
What other card good for online shopping (non ewallet)?

Affin Duo is only 3% (and that one may as well go through ewallet since it is okay).
*
Quantum Visa is still good for contactless transaction spending above RM30. Good for dining and groceries.

Quantum Master is also still good if you do online shopping above RM30. (Remember to check out using credit card instead of ewallet eg Shopeepay or Lazada wallet). For ewallet reloads then yes PIB Visa Platinum is the better option but be aware of the annual fee

I remember someone mentioned before in this thread that installment using Quantum Visa or MC is eligible for cashback? For example i wanted to buy something worth RM6k and I opt for 24 months repayment, the RM250 per month payment is eligible for cashback as well is that correct?

anything I need to take note for the cashback to take effect?

1. Does spaylater have free shipping?
2. How do I make payment to spaylater via public Bank cards?
3. Can I pay spaylater right after I make my purchase?

Sorry for asking such stuff as I don't trust all this buy now and pay later scheme.
*
1. Free shipping depends on the TnC of the coupon. If Spaylater is valid as a payment option then yes you may get free shipping

2. When the time comes to settle your bill, you have payment options to pay via credit card, shopee wallet etc

3. Dont think this is an option as I tried doing so but cant find any option to make a payment. So I just wait till its time to settle the bill and pay it. You wont miss it easily as they will send SMS reminder few days prior to due date

you have to understand and find out how the installment works.

if the installment is done with the merchant, all subsequent installment charges will get cashback.

if the installment is done with the bank, all subsequent installment charges no cashback.

simple as this.

QUOTE(dh13 @ Mar 22 2022, 11:00 PM)
Yes. You can get the cashback for Public bank. We can tally with the amount stated under LOYALTY & REWARD SUMMARY. It do mentioned the Purchase Amount. The same also for my Installment at Samsung Malaysia online store also..24 months installment.

Regarding PIB Visa Plat

" First year annual fee waived. Subsequent years’ is subject to a minimum of 12 swipes over the preceding 12 months "

The 12 swipes meaning I need to spend using terminals? Or online transaction count as well eg: ewallet reloads?
