QMC got CB. VI can use for airport lounge.

Called PBB this morning, was informed that PBB Quantum Mastercard Cashback has been changed to ONLINE only. No more for dining.

Recurring payments (autobilling) may not be counted as online payment so have to do the payment manually e.g pay through the website. Insurance and utilities as well.

Not many stores in post #1. Cracking head where to use QV to earn cashback while fulfilling the condition to spend RM300 for SST rebate...
The 1st statement should be on 6th Sept. I just got my cards yesterday. So I still have more than 1 week to earn cashback. No problem at all for QM but not so easy for QV, even after 1/9 as there isn't many places equipped with paywave...

Why does offline credit card processing occur? It is because at the time of the credit card transaction, there is a temporary loss of internet connection experienced by credit card terminal?

It is quite inconvenient to some of us, when such offline credit card processing occurs. As you said, there is no deduction from the available credit limit of the credit card. Calling the bank does not help at all, because the customer service officer cannot detect such transactions from their system. We can only check the transactions, only when the transactions are posted.

Not much help even after 1/9 as I'm in Sabah, very little are relevant to me... 😔

So far I used paywave ONCE ONLY at mcd. Have not noticed any other places accept paywave...

As for the spending campaign, I plan to buy 2 sport shoes for my oversea trip. So I might participate... 😊

So, to avoid offline processing, should I need to ensure that it is same bank, both at card issuer side, and card acquirer side? For example, I need to tap Public Bank credit cards at Public Bank terminals, for contactless transactions. Is my understanding correct?  :confused:

Uniqlo - Slip shows "Contactless"; I think this transaction is "Online"

Cashier stops it? Isn't using contactless is easier for the cashier?

hi guys, i want to apply PB cc.
currently own maybank 2 platinum cards.

the reason i want to apply pb cards because of cashback.
most of my spending goes to groceries (giant), petrol( shell), bill( tnb, unifi) and etc like clinic( only accept visa n mc).

with mbb2platinum amex, i only get cashback from groceries and petrol on weekend. the rest of spending, i didnt get any cash back.
so would like to ask if the pb quantum mastercard is suitable for my need? paying the bills and others.
seem only dining n online shopping will getting me the cash back.

does visa sign supp. card still get separate cash back with principal card with split bill? or right now it is combined?

Just got my Quantum cards yesterday and instantly cancelled the QV card, later only to read about the changes on Sep 1st (the CS didn't inform me about it). But on second thought, I can get indirect CB if I use QMC to top up BigPay so all is still well. Lol

True, but I have rarely spent above QMC limit. Those larger amounts are loans which cannot be paid using CC. Hopefully I don't regret it
But I said wanna cancel because it applies for Entertainment and Departmental only, he just grinned and tease "Oo tak pergi entertainment, orang baik ni", and didn't mention the upcoming changes

what happen if they send u the card that you already have?? just destroy the one that not yet activated?

why give new number? I mean...

U got QM, apply reinstate QV... but public send you QV and QM together while u still holding QM.

Then you got 2 QM.... what to do?
