There's no fixed time cycle

Honestly I can't give you a time frame until new releases are available

Consider business laptops, however they are a bit overpriced right now...

Not so much, mostly going to be gaming at home, but still need the portability as and when necessary.

Hi Sifus,

I am looking for 17inch laptop.
Main purpose for 3A gaming, video editing and office work.
Am looking at the illegear Selenite Pro
But my friend recommended me to get other brand like Dell or Asus.
Budget around 9k.

Is it necessary to get 32gb ram?

I think a 1660Ti GPU should be more than enough for your games. Consider these under/around RM4.5k:
Lenovo Legion 5i 15 / 17 customize (i7+1660Ti): apply code LENXCIMB
Level51 Forge 15R
Commandos Glock 5 Ace G2

If the soldered RAM failed after warranty, the repair is troublesome

For video editing and photo editing, i think better go for 32gb ram?

32GB RAM then if you worry 16GB RAM not enough

Consider Illegear Selenite G, or Selenite Pro if you want something thinner+lighter+membrane keys

Yea i think that will be the only choice for now?

Been went through the threads of Illegear Selenite and found some problems, if I stayed long term abroad then will be a trouble to me if any problem occurred
