Should I get a Level 51 FORGE-15R 1660 TI EDITION(RM3899) or Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-52Z1(RM3799)?

The level 51 laptop has gtx1660ti 6gb gddr6 gpu but only has 120hz display and amd ryzen 3 3300x cpu.

The acer laptop has 144hz display and intel i5 10300H cpu but only has gtx1650ti 4gb gddr6 gpu.

Which do you think has better value for its price?

Spec wise of course Forge 15R. However there are some compromises like heavier+bulkier, less battery life, no high sRGB display etc

Hi there. Searching for a laptop for my niece for her upcoming university life. She's taking electrical engineering. I was interested in the Redmibook 16 but noticed that it doesn't have a camera.

1. Budget : RM2500 but maybe can stretch a bit until RM2800
2. Usage : University thing, watching videos, online class (so webcam is a must)
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : Display 14" is enough I think, must be lightweight, less than 1.8kg if possible. Long battery life. Webcam is a must. Good screen if possible as well.

1. Budget : RM1500 - RM1800
2. Usage : minimal photoshop work, other admin work excel etc
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) :
light weight, no fast drain battery life, no requirement on large screen size. Even 11-13 inch is fine as I just want easy carry

Thank god I found this post and thanks lowyat for having this thread. I’m a total laptop noobie getting first personal laptop. Been doing research past 3 days until eyes pop out 😭 please help

Good screen means you need high sRGB display?

There is no decent model with pink colour at this price range

There is no reliable brand, if reliability is your priority go for business laptops (at least RM3k)

Strictly gaming w the GPU being the same Intel wins (assuming the 4 core 10300H)... Almost anything else AMD wins but the A15 runs hot for being choked for air.
