Ryzen 4000 is still new and not much options to choose from. No idea when Dell will bring in this model

Note that not all laptops have upgradeable RAM

LENXCIMB code is still valid, however Lenovo website is having a bug currently (cannot apply coupons)

Yeah the flex 5 Ram cant be upgraded, Dell one can go up to 32gb which I prefer more. Cons with dell is smaller battery. I can wait and will check on the price if it come to msia later.

currently im using old laptop with 802.11n , sometimes disconnect when heavy maybe because of distance and low RSSI. i ran 2 laptops at the same time and do ping server , 1 Disconnect and another still connect.

Budget preferably around 3k ( dont mind topping up abit if value for money)
Ram = prefer ddr16gb or 8gb (with extra slot that can be upgrade later)
screen size - 13 inch / 14 inch
weight < 1.6kg or max 1.8
size = slim if possible
usage = for work purpose (excel, words, accounting software) and maybe some video editing.
USB type C charging port
prefer ryzen 4000 or 10th gen intel if possible

No acer

Keep your T495. Business laptops tend to have better reliability in general

Hi Sifus, appreciate your recommendation in advance.

Getting a new laptop for my uni brother (Multimedia course)

Budget: Perhaps below 4k
Usage: Adobe CC (Mainly After Effects, Photoshop), Unity Engine, Occasionally light gaming
Requirement: Preferably SSD, around 15inch screen, not too heavy, Any brand with good after sales service will do!

Thanks

You are in the wrong section laugh.gif Low RSSI sometimes does not help. newer notebook have dual rf chips. so, they can utilized 5ghz... either u get 5Ghz donggle... or get a new notebook. Your choice. However, ISP stock router are really bad... unless TIME wifi router tplink are consider ok la... stable..

Prefer gaming/performance laptop or non gaming?

Mind low sRGB display and non-upgradeable RAM?
