a question:

how necessary is it to adjust the neck(in percentage) if you change your string gauge?

i'm thinking of changing from .09 to .10, but really don't wanna mess with the guitar's neck.

Gibson put up a nice little article on counterfeit guitars:

http://www.gibson.com/Backstage%20Pass/200...feit%20Gibsons/

Might help if you suspect the Gibson is off.......

if you're changing from 9-42 to 10-46, there shouldn't be much problems. i changed mine recently and only minor adjustments had to be made

does it involve the neck? i'm accustomed to the floyd rose adjustment, but the neck is too troublesome. if it only involve the bridge adjustment(action, tremolo springs..etc), i'm gonna switch on the next string change.

obviously, you wont know what to do til you try as every guitar reacts differently.
your neck could be flatter than others, so when you change theres not much adjustment needed etc.

Meh.... Seems a little on the heavy side.....

Will hold out for either a Kramer or an Ibanez S

But right now..... very high priority is the CeriaTone JCM800......
