QUOTE(AlterFx @ Jul 24 2007, 02:50 AM) sorry, but actually not that im looking for.. i mean tuning floyd rose. its like when i tune, everytime i drop d from standard tune.. the other strings(A,D,G,B) also changed tune theoretically, u can block the trem first, then tune to drop D, then remove the block, then readjust the string tension and fine tuning. u can't just tune to standard E and drop to D later on. it must be done in one time to maintain the spring tension.

here's what happened to my friend: he sent his guitar to guitar collection 1 utama to get his strings changed and everytime they screw up his guitar(either action too high or intonation goes off etc) but this time they didnt return his truss rod cover what's worse is they almost ripped him off like hell! he wanted 10-46 strings and the fella told him "ok we can change for you but we'll have to charge you RM48 cuz gotta adjust the truss rod etc so total will be RM9x" that is absolutely absurd.. wanna chop people until like that.. in the end my friend settled for 9-46, no extra charge =/

Why don't just say change the strings, but truss rod no need to adjust? It's not like you 100% need a truss rod adjustment, it's still playable without one.

yay.. after spend 2-3 hour changed and tuned my guitar at last i can get the right tune. I notice that when using the 10-52 the floyd rose float too high, so i adjust the 'spring holder' and make the floyd float the same level with the body. Am i did the right thing here ? What do you guys think bout getting an Ibanez RGR320EX which comes with an Edge III tremolo and blocking the trem after a few months(I heard many complains bout the trem)?I like the guitar, but the trem sucks from what I've heard.I don't think I'll really need the trem anyway.

there's a fixed bridge version of the RGR320EX...same design, everything's the same except for the bridge only

QUOTE(sean392 @ Jul 25 2007, 10:47 PM) does that mean u are interested in the pocket pod ??? no, just means i got ZERO interest in the toneport. my korg pandora is serving me well enough anyway. the pocket pod has no metronome, i think

My volume knob is stuck =/ was initially loose and now it cannot be moved. Is it a small problem? Tomorrow having an audition, so cant really send it to a tech now.
