Enquiries/Recommendations Buying directly from Lenovo Malaysia website?

Any Lenovo staff or ambasaddor here?
I need help in expert.

Lenovo charged me twice in 1 order number.
I did an order on Aug 7 for model y540 (around RM5k) and the payment is charged as pre-authorization hold on 8 Aug. This is normal as well as process.

However, yesterday around 00:57, received bank sms notifying me another charge is paid to Lenovo again. Then I checked with bank and is confirmed another payment done on same order. MONEY is deducted as well when i check online. So Lenovo require us to prepare RM10k on a RM5k product? Answer is exactly a nono, why i say so, because my friend did the same order previously and his one not being charged twice.

Asking, why Lenovo can charge my money without my authorization, i meaning the transaction shall be full stopped on 8 Aug. Yet they can do any authorize charge fee without your acknowledgement.

Called service desk and they ask to email payment team only. Yet no reply so far. Im so dissappointed and depressed.

Report to the bank. They can usually respond faster, at least to just cancel one of the payments

Hi, I'm thinking to get a customised Thinkpad T495,, it shows estimated arrival time of 2weeks. If I were to order today, would it be arrived by 8 Sept? I'm going overseas for study starting Sept.

Hi all sifus, I have ordered my T495 last night.
Currently shipping date is 30th Aug and delivery date is 6th Sept. Any way that I can try to make it quicker? Will be leaving for overseas on 8th Sept, afraid some delay will cause trouble.

Any progress on your case? Mine same thing happened but the first one will be reversed and second one is the real charge. Lenovo need to do this to verify CC is ok (credit block) before they release your BTO to production.

1) Cancellation and full refund of the order

Ordered when it was on timesale last week for $28++ (2 weeks delivery and they sent a confirmed order email then after purchase, with 2 weeks timeline delivery schedule; a week after that, they sent me the cancelation email which was yesterday, the bag and mouse r already on their way to me, so they perhaps overbooked the orders)

Is it possible to call Maybank up and ask for an installment based payment on CC charged via Lenovo Malaysia website orders?

Isn't there a function on MBB website called Ezy Pay Plus under "Apply" tab on the top menu > Cards where it will convert eligible CC purchases to installment plans with interest based on the tenure of the plan?

If credit card i think you can call up your bank and let them know you want to do installment. Might have interest charges and processing fees. Better ask them for more details. I am not sure about this.

Got my Legion y7000 custom build (total cost RM 4.1K) within 12 days...oklar, consider less than 2 weeks....and super value for money.
Although I have yet to receive 2 free items:
Lenovo AR/VR device Lenovo AR-7561 and Lenovo 15.6 Laptop Casual Backpack B210 Model

Now busy setting up back my stuff, RM 1 for 2 years premium support sure is good to have, and 1TB + 256 SSD, 16GB ram ddr4, i7 9750H and a simple GTX 1050 good enough for my mobile app and game rendering development.
