Need to get a laptop (Legion 5 Ryzen) but the expected >8 weeks shipping is really bad news. Need it for overseas trip in a couple of months.

I think is picked those delivery within 1 or 2 weeks will be faster shipping, if the laptop got option to customise but you didn't customised anything, it still ship after 8 weeks.

UPS usually calls me 1 day in advance to arrange delivery, but those are for my corporate purchase experience la. Not sure if it's the same for personal purchase as well

The 8 weeks delivery time is real by the way. In 2018, had to wait 2 months for them to deliver my corporate orders because they were short on Core i 8th Gen processors
And that purchase was for multiple countries (Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia & Thailand)
