Sometimes, people is rushing like observe those Myvi car which not even a supercar categories but they speeding like hell. If your car have 500 to 1K H/P then it was only a real sport car not those normal car like Myvi... biggrin.gif

You know why Bezza save fuel?

I went to test drive when it first launched, 4 occupants in the car climbing a fairly steep hill (bukit segar in cheras if you know where)

Pedal to the metal liao, but still in 4th gear refuse to downshift, slowly crawling uphill at 20kmh while the eco indicator lit up showing that I am driving economically.

One of the most mindfcuk test drive I've ever experienced.

Mine minimum 500. Maximum around 670km like that.

Average fc not more than 8l/100km

The tips is: when want yo move the car you eill notice car going faster when u press the accelerator softly. Compared to you press the accelerator hard, car going forward like turtle. Try la and see the difference then you know the idea already

Cvt punch no meant for pedal to metal one. Must slow slow press

When want to accelerate 0kmph to 100kmph, ensure press the pedal like 5% only, stay at 5% and gradually pres harder to 10%, 15% 20% until u reach 60kmph then relase back to 15% to 10% then when reack 100kmph release back to 5%

Listen to the engine. Press abit, relase, press abit, release

maybe they got butt sensor that trigger the eco indicator to light up... driving with full load (read: car pooling) is always more economy than driving alone.

the only downside of the saga is the bloody punch cvt. no matter how updated, it is the poorest cvt car i ever driven.
any 4 speeder is better than the cvt

The other poster said Bezza has 5* vs 4* for Saga. I just pointed out to him that the 5* is only for the top variant with ESC which is not the variant TS is looking at. So, his point is invalid.

Did you try to 1.3 or 1.0A? I have rented both before. The 1.0A is better tuned and has higher butt-dyno torque, it's actually quite OK for its puny engine.

i only press to the metal when after exiting toll booth icon_rolleyes.gif

i mostly press about 5% initially.. then 10% and more by 15-20% i've already reach 80-100kmh
but i loss most of the fuel during traffic jam..literally the fuel drop like air paip.

i sit my relative bezza 1.0A, 3 passenger + 1 driver, the car feels damn underpowered.

actually all small CC engine also has this common problem.
the FC only good if no weight.
once add som weight, the FC even more horrible than higher CC engine.

10 cara agar transmisi automatik anda panjang umur


Sistem transmisi atau kotak gear atau “gearbox” ialah komponen kedua paling mahal dan paling sibuk selepas enjin. Ia juga sangat kompleks dan mempunyai banyak komponen yang sentiasa berpusing.

Di Malaysia, kebanyakan kenderaan yang dijual ialah yang menggunakan transmisi automatik. Mungkin kerana harga minyak kita yang masih murah kerana di Eropah di mana harga minyak boleh mencecah sehingga RM7.00 seliter, transmisi manual menjadi pilihan kerana ia menjimatkan penggunaan bahan bakar. Apapun, pilihan di tangan pengguna dan lebih 80 peratus kenderaan persendirian yang dijual di Malaysia ialah kenderaan dengan transmisi automatik.

Careta berkongsi pendapat dari beberapa mekanik untuk menyenaraikan cara-cara bagaimana kita boleh menjaga transmisi automatik kereta kita.

1.Pastikan kenderaan dalam keadaan berhenti sepenuhnya sebelum anda mengubah gear dari D ke R (gear undur). Ramai pemandu yang kurang sabar dalam bab ini sebenarnya.

2.Bila meletakkan kenderaan di jalanraya curam, gunakan handbrake dahulu sebelum masukkan gear ke P. Ini mengurangkan beban pada komponen seperti pin pada posisi P dan penyambungnya.

3.Letakkan transmisi ke N (neutral) bila berhenti lama di lampu merah. Ia mengurangkan beban kepada komponen-komponen berpusing seperti torque converter dan lain-lain.

4.Jangan selalu melanggar tebing jalan (road kerb) bila meletakkan kenderaan anda. Ia juga sedikit sebanyak memberikan beban yang tidak perlu pada sistem transmisi dan juga tayar anda.

5.Untuk transmisi automatik dengan tukaran gear manual (plus/minus), jangan selalu memaksa gear untuk turun ke nisbah lebih rendah ketika turun bukit atau ketika mahu memperlahankan kenderaan. Ia bukan sahja teknik yang salah, ia bakal merosakan kotak gear automatik anda. Gunakan brek untuk memperlahankan kereta dan selepas itu, turun pada gear yang sesuai.

6.Selalu periksa tahap pelincir transmisi (ATF atau automatic transmission fluid). Lakukan setiap 5,000 km atau tiga bulan sekali. Tanpa pelincir yang cukup, kotak gear akan rosak dengan sangat mudah. Jika pelincir kurang atau disyakki bocor, jangan pandu kenderaan anda. Panggil penunda (tow truck) dan tunda ke bengkel atau pusat servis kereta. Biar rugi RM150 (upah menunda) dari rugi berbelas-belas ribu RM (harga transmisi automatik boleh mencecah puluhan ribu Ringgit sebenarnya).

7.Haba ialah musuh utama transmisi automatik. Selain dari pelincir ATF yang mencukupi, pastikan sistem itu sesuai dengan cuaca di neagra kita yang panas dan lembab ini. Sekiranya kereta anda jenis reconditioned (recond), periksa samada ia boleh dipasang dengan ATF cooler. Jika boleh dan jika mampu, pasang kerana ia akan membantu anda memanjangkan hayat kotak gear tersebut.

8.Selalu ganti penapis sistem transmisi anda. Periksa dengan buku manual atau dengan pusat servis. Tidak salah jika anda menukarnya lebih awal.

9.Gunakan pelincir terbaik seperti sintetik untuk sistem transmisi automatik anda. Ia ialah satu pelaburan yang berbaloi.

10.Sekiranya anda terlekat di dalam lumpur, jangan cuba untuk maju dan undurkan kenderaan dengan ganas. Tunggu sebelum anda tukar ke gear undur, dan rehat sebentar sebelum masuk ke D semula. Ini ialah satu petua yang selalu dilupakan, terutama kepada kenderaan 4X4 automatik yang mempunyai tork yang sangat tinggi. Hasilnya, terpaksa menggantikan transmisi automatik yang rosak akibat keganasan sendiri.

Duh. That's why u need to be in car industry long enough to understand.

Ppl buying cars at that price range don't have safety at the top of their mind. As long the car got abs, 2-4 airbags enough d.

Ppl want low FC because that's what they will be paying everyday.

And if u drive like a decent person, u will hardly be involved in an accident. The most common being minor knocks here n there.

I don't know why ppl think saga has better safety than bezza. Just because saga is "harder" and heavier?

U guys are clowns.

U want safety, go get a Merc or a volvo.

I don't recommend proton because their cars have shit FC and shit reliability, and shit Service centres.

had the same dilemma last march.

end up buying saga premium since it is quieter and more spacious inside compared to bezza. more stable on highway speeds too.

fuel compared to my cousin's bezza kinda similar since mostly driving in city only.
