I did considered  S10+ before OnePlus. But what drive me to get 7 Pro at the end is the Color, and the full screen display, and the color.. wait did i mentioned the color twice? Yeah it's Nebula Blue cool2.gif

laugh.gif For me is partly os fanboysm since I been using OP since they first flagship, and another half is the ecosystem where root and bootloader is allowed while warranty still honored. It's a big plus for user that want lotsa freedom on their phone. icon_rolleyes.gif

Sad that isn't EU else there goes the commercial court case. laugh.gif Anyways, couple options avail now:

1. No brainer, just grab the MY set and pay whatever the distri stated.
2. Wait for AP set, a lil lower than MY but higher then the RRP (after conversion ofcos)
3. Self bring in either from US / China via 3rd agent / fwder (lotsa hassle that going to involve SST, SIRIM & Kastam tax if unlucky).

Because they want me bank account?
*
I guess they send u the same questions as I do, but when I ask further details on the refund process and the person in charge said they will revert back to the same channel where you made the payment. So if you're using direct bank in, the same method refund back to you and if you're card then the refund will go back to card.

Unlikely for OP trend (unless u mentioned sammy or Huawei).. Unless there new model coming out, but then the price wont slash much. U see now OP6T still rocking on its official price. Lol.

US$ 699 * 4.3 = RM 3005  cool2.gif

So which forwarder u gonna use bro? And already apply your SIRIM? Lol. My previous case was, I late apply SIRIM (as I apply only once DHL told me my item is arrived but hold at kastam) so end up I gotta pay RM200 tax + SIRIM like RM70 or RM100 cant rmb already.

Grey market sellers are popping up on FB and other sales channels.

Price list for one of them is as follows:
(China Model)
Oneplus 7 Pro 8GB RAM 256 GB ROM- Nebula Blue and Mirror Gray (First Batch) = RM3100
Oneplus 7 Pro 8GB RAM 256 GB ROM- Nebula Blue and Mirror Gray (Second Batch)= RM3300

1 year warranty from the seller, and I assume he flashes to Oxygen OS.

All in all, it's not that much of a step up from the Shopee Deal with the RM200 coupon which is around RM3500 and with Bullets V1 and 2 years local warranty.
*
I assumed the seller was Gurvin? laugh.gif I saw his post in FB Oneplus MY community.

Anyways, pulled the trigger for 12 months installment.

Why are still people still talking about how OnePlus has increase the price significantly ?
Yes,OnePlus was know as flagship killer with flagship killer price...when it only using plastic back, medium camera module, normal display with custom rom only.
Now,they have their own software, camera is getting better ,the build quality is great , great software support  ( my oneplus5 is still getting official update ) , gorilla glass , fast charging , and now with high fresh rate display  . ( although some of the stuff is being shared from BBK Electronic ).
They are still normal version for OnePlus 7 if they feel  OnePlus 7 Pro is expensive.

Tell me what is the Motto from OnePlus? Never settle ? Flagship killer ? I'm loyal OnePlus user here since op3, 5t, op6. But I gotta said really overprice this tine with Malaysia distributor set. Don't be fan boy mode, XF distributor seriously fuzk up with the pricing and the gap btw 6gb and 8gb cost rm 700... Wtf 700... US olny cost around 30 usd.. so ?
*
laugh.gif Being fanboy is one thing, as I'm one too. And not to forget that our weak currency (RM) almost one of the culprit that causing the price of official set skyrocket.

Just imagine, if you're running a company and you're going to sell a handset that its price is orignated in USD, with the condition of MY vs USD currency is unstable I think no boss wanna do biz that not going to bring any profits right? So last resort, jack the price and let consumer tank the dmg. laugh.gif

As for OP slogan, I think they didn't settle eh? bruce.gif They improved on every generation of their phone right? About pricing, lets not compare our MY scenario but the global pricing. Samsung s10plus 8GB/128GB @ 999USD where by OP7PRO 12GB/256GB @ 749USD.

So overall, OP still the flagship for the time being IMO.

Honestly speaking, I opt for MY set is due to the mechanical parts or else I will off with AP/China set. Hahha.. 2 yrs warranty, free wireless headphone and discount 200, I think its a good deal for early bird. brows.gif

So as said, go for MY set for peace of mind. Eventhough warranty takes time but deeply inside you know that the problem will be resolved. laugh.gif Anyways, can't expect flawless device la, there gonna be lemon set. Same thing goes to Samsung / Huawei or any other brand.
