Channel bro, channel.. Oneplus known for making their phone with mainland ver and international ver. Diff is the certain channel of band is not supported.

Mainland 6/6T has 2 or 3 band diff with global ver, but our telco didn't use that band so we are still still good. But not sure about 7/7Pro Band is like the key tab into certain LTE provider.

Speak from OP1 and OP3 experience, I'd OP hardware quite durable. But am not sure about the 7 as it has this pop out camera. But if u ain't selfie person / using face unlock much then I think it gonna last.
