Mah 1st 2 OP (1 or 3) are all imported. Decided to go with XF on 7PRO is due to the front cam, since this is the 1st time OP team deal with mechanical part so I'm sort of worried about its durability. Pre-order 2yrs warranty, + discount 200 + gigibiru headset.. Plus minus, not much diff imported bah.

Case look sharp there, how about fingerprint bro? Does it like most of case out there, fp magnet? my ringke basically suck when comes to fp, thinking to look for alternative. UAG abit off budget tho

True that.. Can't avoid but only can find those case that can resist or at least not that sticky enough. It's a shame that can't use clear case to show the beauty of nebula blue tho, but the best way to get rid of fp will be using non-clear case.

Understand that OP7 series doesn't come with AI but there's magisk module that claims it can optimize android phone based on our usage. So who's up for? Lol. I just installed it on mine, let see how it works.

Hm.. Looks like the nebula blue painting very prone to scratch. Just found that the metal ring on my camera area got few spot with the paint dropped off.

Just mange to get sometime sit down take photo and upload it. Lol. Didn't expect I been tag for so many time. Alright here's the case:

1. I'm using Ringke Fusion
2. I Can't rmb the time I use my phone without case tho, even when the time apply SP I'm still put my phone on soft cloths
3. And yes, the paint chipped off a little, but the metal show no sign of denting. Sorry for using the wrong word to describe just now.

I'd say OP uses the top end parts (as u can see from the spec list from cpu, gpu to storage til camera) but the downside is software optimization. Apart of OS, they need to work on the rest of the department (this is the statement has been discussed in OP official forum )

I'd say the mixtures of fanboyism + the ecosystem of OP. I've been with OP since their first phone bro, the One and then the 3 and now the 7pro. And if you're geek, you gonna like OP even more cos of the freedom of root (hell easy to do) widely available of ROM's, tweak and etc. Plus the bonus of, OP honor the warranty even you're rooted.

Speak of batt, I think mine still consider ok with 9.5.7. Addicted to harry potter wizards unite late, and I think 20-25% of my batt goes to the game and I still can hit 4hrs+ SOT when the phone left 15% tho.

Hey guys, especially root geeks! Need a hand here yo!

Alright, basically here's my case.

I upgraded my 7PRO OOS to the latest, plus silly me that I forget to do the tweak in my Magisk (the dont reboot, and OTA tweak thingy) and I ended up with a stock recovery. So I uses ADB fastboot method to install back back my TWRP and now my problem.

Whenver I install magisk via TWRP, it only install on the partition A, and if I perform a reboot after that my 7PRO will ended with bootloop (device reboot whenever device it get into the OS). In order to use my phone, I gotta flash my TWRP again without root.

So I wonder anyone here know what's happening? Or at if you've face this, please do shed me some light.

Partition B got nothing now. But when I boot back to partition A and everything are fine. Currently on that partition to reply this thread.

So how do you get rid of that issue?

Nvm, settled my issue and lesson learned.

Gotta boot into A, decrypt the phone so TWRP can see all the partition then jump to slot B and install magisk. Baru can settle the boot loop.

And yes, once a root-er and modder, there's no way back man! Once will always want to squeeze the last bit from the phone. I guess I been using my OP3 too long and didn't catch up much especiall the A/B partition thingy.. Gotta do some reading on them soon. But brightness, 7PRO back to business and rocking.

Basically that's is. But you might hit the same case as I do where 1 of the partition didnt update and u hit bootloop.
