hmn.. yup i only keep one syrian, was thinking should i let it breed or not cause i not sure if i have the time to do so. i did have the problem of having bits of bedding end up in the water, but the water i change once evey 2-3days, wonder if is all right to be like tat. as for droppings he did throw his poop at one corner left lying around the cage was kuaci shells..
If you breed, you must think of how many tanks you can have. Coz Syrians are solitary and you have to test the female if she is on heat then only can breed. And if she is not ready, she could hurt the male badly.... so do research first before breeding.
Anyway, you cannot leave the water in a bowl and change every 2 to 3 days. You have to change everyday if in a bowl coz bacteria breeds in still waters, and with wood shavings around, the bacteria build up is higher. This is why use bottle. If you put a bowl and bottle in the cage, of course it would drink from the bowl 1st. So train it. Use bottle, it is healthier and cleaner.

yeah,i know,but i heard from rena long ago..treats got many type..some r good..some wasnt

any recomend?
The best treats are of course natural treats and dog biscuits.... but if say hamster treats, do not go for those with sugar or honey as some hamsters are sensitive to sugar, can get diabetes... don't go for cheap treats too. Look for those made of seeds.... I can't remember the brand but there are treats that are long in shaped that's made of different seeds....
